Great job and congrats to you both for taking on and finishing those courses. Great commentary Yvonne. Eria - yours was just Ok, need to pick it up a little bit. 😉
Brian, that cracked me up 😂 thanks for watching! Evonne is going to give me some pointers on the commentary.
Awesome work both of you! I did the 62 mile ride and will be doing it again next year!
Thanks for watching, we appreciate it! I hope to do 62 miler next year.
wish I lived in the Midwest to do this ride! looks like loads of fun. thanks!!
That for watching! This is a fun course, the hilly nature of this course ups the ante quite a bit. Fast downhills, slow up hills 😂
@@iowagravelgrinder I live in the San Francisco Bay area. we have no shortage of hills here! used to live in Illinois; love the midwest.might try to come back and ride this awesome course. take care
Good work, team, keep bringing in the material, good work.
Thanks for watching, I appreciate you watching!
Good to see you in Michigan! We have so much gravel racing here. BRX is the biggest and runs so smoothly. Check out Moran 166 (and 66 and this year 33) up in the Upper Peninsula for a stellar ride in the amazing Fall colors. The ride is flatter and the vibe is more laid back but just as fun!
Hey Brian, Thanks for watching! I’ve actually never been to the UP so ride sounds like the right way to check that part of the country. Adding it to my list
@@iowagravelgrinder I hope to see you there!
Cool drone shot at the finish!
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Even cooler town for above.
Started doing BR at race 2 and then 9 more. They used to hold the race starting at Yankee Springs State Park. Moved to Hastings after 4 years. I think they realized there was money to be made off all those cyclist passing through town to the park race venue.😝 The first few races did not get over 300 racers . The move to Hasting and just blew it up. Personally the crowd just wore me out much like the Iceman Race . The original promoter/founder loved to look for the most elevation he could find. Sager Rd. was the sweet spot on the course. 🤣 You could always tell who the roadies were compared to the mountain bikers that had more skill riding those conditions.
Thanks for watching! That would make sense on moving the starting point. Also was wondering why all the hills but now I know. How many times did you do Iceman? I'm thinking of trying it this year perhaps.
@21:25 it was great meeting and riding with you.
Rob it was cool riding and chatting with you mate.
Great video !
Thanks for watching mate!
Seems like Barry Roubaix lived up to its reputation. Great video as usual! How did you like the wave starts?
Barry is no joke, but a run ride all in all. The wave starts make a lot of sense.
Catching up on your videos during rainy day trainer sessions. I see you have your coach, i.e. mother, my cousin, the demolisher of
nearly ever Ragbrai, ever :) Fantastic!!
We sure did have coach in tow. She wanted to make sure we stuck to the game plan. Soon the rain will be done and it will be outside riding sessions!
Nice talking to you.
Great chatting you as well!
