I really enjoy all of your guest, but Jason Christy I really enjoyed the conversation with him. I know I’ll never be on a platform like that ever, but if I could ever have a wish, I would like to fish with Jason Christy. That would be a dream come true. I’m just a simple guy, I work hard to provide for my family, I’m a full time firefighter, and a weekend fisherman. I don’t know if you read all of theses comments, but I love them

You should look into the Bassmaster Marshal program. There is no guarantee you will get in Jason’s boat but there is a chance and regardless you will get to spend the day with a elite angler. Thanks for everything you do as a fire fighter. You guys are the real hero’s
Great discussion! His winning the Classic was obvious AWESOME! I think he was still feeling the 8 hrs after his win at Santee Cooper where he almost finished last. The next tournament his head was back to business & won Chick! An awesome fisherman & dude!

This was one of the best ones you’ve ever done if not the best. Hard call. However, easily a top 5! The FOF slobberknocker episode wasn’t to bad either but doesn’t top the “you Mercer?” Watch out for the rocks

@@factsoffishing lol, that’s priceless! Can’t imagine that getting cut at editing. However, it makes a lot more sense now. Although funny, and I can’t say how many nips they’d had, boozing and boating isn’t a good combination and it was pretty evident in their performance! Maybe it was more wanting to be on a show they knew would be watched or 15 mins of fame. Handled it like a pro. Love the show!
@@factsoffishing always been a ln Abu/Berkley fan or pure fishing I guess, Fenwick-eh, but when I started watching the show several years back every week and rewatching on dvr during the offseason season I’ve switched every rod, every reel over Abu Garcia and using Berkley hard, soft, wire, jigs, and terminal since they’ve cont came out with new innovative prods. Get several rigging, tech, and color options or combinations that I might not use from watching. So appreciative for that. Just spooled and rigged 4 of the new Gen5 Revo with 9 more en route. Only sprung for 2 of the zenon’s bc I still like gas in the boat and truck. Keep up the laughter and good work! Elites start soon
I’ve been with Jason numerous times as a marshal…great days and struggling…the dude is a stud and a class act no matter how his day is going. Love his attitude!

Excellent video Dave ! Jason is a very focused fisherman and this makes him a threat every time to raise that 1 st place trophy . I love the simplicity of his fishing . I have found in life it is so easy to loose focus and over complicate every thing we do . Tight lines Jason ! I'm always pulling for you and I like your TH-cam channel !

The best thing about a elite series event is it’s easy to get access to the anglers. The 2 best times are either at take off in the morning or during the afternoon weigh ins. Also during the day Saturday there are usually a bunch of the anglers that missed the cut changing around the expo. Hope that helps. Please make sure to find me and introduce yourself to me. Really surprised by the move from Xpress to Skeeter. Probably just as surprised as Zaldain moving from Skeeter to Nitro lol. Since Christie is my hero, I fully intended to buy xpress but now I don’t know what to do because this man can’t afford a Skeeter. Well, I could but I want to remain married after the purchase.

I been watching FOF since KVD was the man. KVD still is the man….. but you know what I mean. The man man…. Like regular winning in the Elite Series Man . 🤣🤣🤣. I’ll be honest. I miss that time of the Bassmasters . It was much more accessible on TV. I barely see Bassmasters anymore. Only pre recorded shows from now and then. What’s the deal man ??? Needs to get back on the forefront. I see MLF on TV way more than the Elites . Sad…..

I purposely did not ask out of respect to Jason & all parties involved. We talked about it before shooting and Jason just wanted to talk about the future not his past. Which tells me he does not want to go public with the reasons he left one company. If you ask me that’s called being classy.

Dave, will you be walking around the Classic expo any during the day? The family and I are driving up that Saturday morning and staying until weigh-in Sunday.
Hey Michael, I will be all over the place at the classic. I will be at take off every morning, in the expo for bass live during the day & at the arena for weigh in during the afternoon/evening. I will know my exact schedule when we get closer to the classic. If you check in with me a week or so before the classic I will fill you in on where I will be.

I love bass talk live as well as several others. Nothing against Matt P. because he is a fine young man and host. I'll always listen to that podcast but it's not the same since Mark left. However Dave has picked up that slack and seriously his shows literally get better and better. JC has been my favorite since Clunn slowed down. As far as BTL it is one of my favourite shows also. I think Matt is doing a great job. Mark was incredible and he leaves some big shoes to fill. I think it’s natural for a long time viewer to miss Mark. If you did not miss Mark then Mark did not do his job over the last 20 years. Change is always hard for some to accept not because you don’t like it but because you loved what it used to be. It’s funny I actually talk about not liking change right away in the Christie show. Stick with my boy Panger he has a lot to offer.
