    First off, the Buick Regal Gran Sport AWD (built by both, European car manufacturer Opel and Buick) has a 2.0 Liter turbocharged battery engine which is much quicker and faster than just its naturally aspirated counterpart. It also comes with a six speed automatic transmission with a top speed of 164 Miles Per Hour. This particular year and model is dubbed the fastest car that Buick has ever built! My personal 2016 GS AWD has the same color paint job and the camera doesn’t do it justice. The acceleration of this this vehicle is capable of 0-60 in 6.3 seconds. I’d also like to point out there is a GS button at the top of the control panel that gives the vehicle a tighter feel and a a much firmer grip on the road and track. It also gives the engine a better throttle response and slightly changes the shift points in the transmission making the car far more quicker, faster and superior than most other cars on the road such as most Audi models BMW, Honda Civic R and so on. This vehicle gives the perfect textbook example of a Sleeper Car. To most, it’s just another car on the road, but most drivers and car experts such as myself know this vehicle proves it’s worth when it comes time to put some speed on the road and track! I highly recommend the Buick Regal GS, especially if you can find a 2016! The newer models are much more sporty looking but still don’t have the performance and speed of the 2016, especially for its price! Buick and Opel accomplished grace, performance and luxury all in one package

      I’m a Master Automotive Technician and I can say maintenance is relatively straightforward as long as you stick to a schedule! Speaking as a 2016 GS AWD owner you should only be using highest octane gasoline! The 2.4 should be fine with a mid range but I advise you to check your owners manual or lock online as long as it isn’t someone’s opinion! Always stick to the OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines. You should only use a high grade synthetic oil. Personally I would stick with either AMS oil or Royal Purple ( my personal choice).

    Why do most of, if not all reviews of the Buick Regal the reviewers keep talking about how Buick designed the car? The car was designed in europe by the Opel devision of GM. It's just an Insignia with a Buick badge.

    • @ManicMechanic82
      @ManicMechanic82 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually GM owned Opel until 2017, technically GM designed it and owned the rights to the design even though the Opel division developed the design and built the the chassis and body! The engines are owned by GM along with the ECU and most of all of the parts along with the interior functions. The car is a perfect hybrid of both. It’s caught in a limbo of yes and no. LoL
      Aside from all of that, they made one perfect car as far as the GS model goes!!!!

    • @ManicMechanic82
      @ManicMechanic82 ปีที่แล้ว

      The turbocharged 2.0 Liter by far!!! The 2.4 is naturally aspirated and doesn’t have nearly the acceleration or speed of the 2.0

    • @GrantRoberson
      @GrantRoberson 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Potentially. Not sure I remember how closely the wheels relate to that vehicle

    • @ManicMechanic82
      @ManicMechanic82 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s best to stick with manufacturers size wheel because a larger wheel will make your engine work much harder for a full revolution! It can damage your transmission as well as your torque specifications will be effected as well. but there are plenty of really nice rims out there to choose from. Just make sure you have the correct size and bolt pattern for your vehicle before you buy!!! I doubt the Buick/Opel bolt pattern will fit your vehicle but you can look up the specifications for each vehicle’s dimensions on the internet quite easily.

      +NOFATCHICK1 It almost wouldn't be possible to sell a 2.8 l engine in Europe. With the heavy taxes on emissions and high petrol prices it would ruin most drivers. Besides, do you need more than about 150 Bhp for regular driving?
