What a beautiful comment Nilda! It was music to my ears. It's nice to know how my viewers feel about my teaching, so thank you for sharing that. I try to take my time to explain things so everyone can learn from me. Have a blessed day. 💕🤗🌹
I agree Richard, and this scene is so peaceful! A place I would like to be to get away from it all. 😊💕
Love the little cabin in th e scene Yovette. I like the way you painted in the roof first then added the walls. Neat. 😍😍
The cabin was painted a little differently this time Paul, and it worked out well. I liked the finished painting a lot better after drying and touching it up. 🌺💖
I love this painting Ms. Yovette! It just says-“ITS FREEZING!” So nice!! Thanks Ms. Yovette!

Youve given me a few great pointers that Id never tried. Ive done a few paintings very much
like this one but now Ill try using the knife for my cabin. Thanku . Lovely painting. Jean from
Manitoba. .
I love hearing that I was able to help someone Jean. Getting used to the knife is hard. It took me a very long time to finally master it. Just keep working with it, and one day it will just happen the right way. Thank you for the nice compliment. 💕
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers Ellaree!
Beautiful. Looks like a Christmas card. I love the way you explain. I have never used palate knife. Thanks so much for this tutorial. I think I learned a lot from this which is my first tutorial on your channel.
Welcome to my channel Chelvi, I am happy you discovered me and even more happy to hear that you found a tutorial that you liked. I hope you will try painting along with me, it's fun, and yes, you will learn some things too. Palette knife takes a while to get used to, but you will love it once you get started using it. 🌹
Thank you. I was struggling converting an acrylic scene similar to this into oil
You are so welcome Hooked! Glad I could be of help.
Well I just tried your lakeside cabin, using Georgian paints, and found their Viridan Hue green really too green. Also I only got Burnt Seinnafor brown. What are u using to clean your brushes. When I used acrylic I used soap and water.
Vridian hue green is definitely very green Vicki, You can tone it down with a SLIGHT amount of red or brunt sienna. If your paints are water mixable then just use soap and water. That is what I use, usually cleaning 3 times till they are squeaky clean.
*꧁ В кайф 💯 Спасибо 👌 ꧂*
😍 Большое спасибо Духову. Я ценю ваш комментарий. 💕🤗
I didn't realized that you were left handed until you mentioned it. I was originally left handed but changed to right handed at a young age except for scissors holding which I didn't manage to change. 😀 Beautiful painting.
Very interesting Joan! My teachers tried to make me a right hander when I was very young, but it didn't work. 😘
@@PaintingWithYovette yeah, those days you had to be right handed. 🤣
I used to just switch hands when one would get tired until my 4th grade teacher complained and accused me of cheating. The last time I really used the other hand was when I sprained my wrist in 7th grade. I keep forgetting to apply it to my art and I should
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aww, thank you again User. This is another fun painting.
👍👍👍
Thank you Maria. Happy you liked the video. 💕
You mention a chip brush, what type is that? It looks like a brush I saw in hardware store.
A chip brush is a cheap brush I got at home depot Vicki. It has no brand name on it, but they run around a dollar or two. You can get them in any art store or paint store.
Are you in Oregon now or Florida.
I am in southern Oregon now Vicki. Love it here. Great weather.
I finally got TH-cam
Great! That was very strage that it was not available for a while.
