    My advice for you as far as distancing yourself from the consumerism aspects of social media during theses days is maybe make more cooking, or Islamic videos about your modesty journey or things about what you struggle with. Just your real life without the “influencer stuff”. I like you and your raw videos. Anyways, just wanted to share since you asked for our opinions. Good luck moving forward. Sending hugs 🤗.

    I’ve been feeling like that too wanting to get away from my career and how it doesn’t matter and just live a simple life. You should try getting away from tik tok and focusing more on TH-cam. Complete agree with you, you are not alone. There were times I cried to a point my voice shivered in the daily standups , but I couldnt talk about Gaza. I couldnt tell them I am hurting because I just saw a baby without a head. That was our baby. That was our ummah's baby. There was a time I thought Gazans are lucky because they are getting this escape with the martyrdoom while we are still stuck in this selfish filthy world. I wanted to quit, my career, everything that matters and just hide somewhere. Tahajjud has helped me, subhanAllah Allah has the best ways of consoling hearts. I saw a dream where I was reciting the last ayah of Surah Ambiya. When I woke up and checked for the ayah, the context was about war and the translation is something I would remember for the rest of my life. Allah is teaching us to leave this bubble of wordly desires, live a simple life and pray for the Ummah. This is not the Palestine Test, this is our test.

    Thank you soo soo much for sharing your experience of living alone - your ability to be soo real, raw, vulnerable is priceless as many people sugar-coat things... I don't know why people romanticize the idea of living alone. Yes it comes with blessings. But it also comes with huge challenges and difficulties that nobody talks about, especially the deep isolation and loneliness that comes with it. I wondered if there was something wrong with me given that everyone boasts about loving living alone.

    Assalamualaikum dearest sister, in fact it’s my first time commenting on a post because this video has touched me and I can relate to your feelings. In fact you must thank Allah a lot for having this moment of questioning because not many of us have this opportunity and yes it’s a honorable moment to reflect and question the world and how it’s evolving and going back to the core of the Quran and Sunnah. What my Lord really wants from me? We are so zooming in this social media world that we no longer have time for self reflection and deep thinking. And yes you are absolutely right. The mercy you have felt for Gaza and stop sharing the normal content is a form of Mercy and i guarantee you that Allah will reward you far much better. Keep raising awareness for Gaza my dearest sister for the sake of Allah and you can show your spiritual journey by sharing Islamic knowledge ect. This is the best sadaqah Jariyah to leave behind. Don’t worry about your rizq because Allah provides from ways you never can imagine. Be sure that by leaving something for the sake of Allah except that Allah will give you much better. Don’t fear to leave the crowd. Fear is from Shaitan. Have full trust in Allah. I want to truly thank you for sharing this and raising awareness about this important matter. Gaza is showing the world how rich they are in faith and how poor we are in materialism. May Allah reward you immensely sister and may He opens His doors of Barakah for you. Anytime you feel confused, read the Quran ( sura Baqarah & sura Al Imraan & sura Waqiah , sura Yaseen, sura Mulk and if you want to achieve more, if you have the financial means, sponsor an orphan, monthly, you will be astonished to the miracle of Allah’s Mercy.
    Much Love,

    I get what you mean about feeling the ick from social media and realizing sharing content is so trivial compared to what’s going on in the world but I also think that we should remove our spaces because we are developing spaces of influence that can be used to share information and truth. This is also why I have stopped posting for some time but I realize that there is still a lot of benefit to sharing content and growing a small following. And I feel this way even tho I have a humble 500 subs. Small but hey 500 is actually a lot too. You with your following can mobilize so many people to do good and I think you should continue to strive for that. Good luck 😊

    Completely understand and respect your point of view. Its just not normal to be able to continue in whatever form of balance we call it, to keep living life as before, or create content like before, after what we are seeing daily happen to Gaza and the lack of value of Muslims in general. Who are we trying to impress? who are we trying to create content for? no one cares for us, but Allah, and to Him is our return, so are we working for that journey hard enough? The creators who are able to post fun, colorful lifestyle pics, children's birthday parties, luxury life contents, being muslims at this time, it does not sit well with any of us...

    • @simplyjaserah
      @simplyjaserah  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      While I understand this wholeheartedly I still believe there could be balance in all of this. While we can’t completely give up living our day to day, we can limit and control how we portray things and what we talk about 💖

    • @SumairaChowdhury
      @SumairaChowdhury 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know what you mean - and even my own perspective changes frequently. One day I’ll find myself justifying the content creators - it is their 9-5 job too, and on other days, I feel like how can the heart feel what it feels and still be ok to publicly post such lavish parties and dancing and merrymaking as if we didn’t just cry our eyes out..
      It is a unique time and a unique tragedy, and I think like each of our unique souls, this event is also exposing the state of each of our hearts (in regards to deen, Allah, thoughts of the afterlife, the allure of dunya etc)

    I think we all feel similar emotions right now. The world has forever changed. Things have reached the peak. Everything feels meaningless. But there is a test in this too. Are we going to stop improving and working on ourselves now? Or are we ignoring these emotions and striving to do as much good as possible regardless? At the end of the day we are not told to worry about the outcomes but only to do what we can. Everything else is of no importance for our eternal success..

    I can relate to gut problems and constantly feeling bloated. I have managed to figure it all out after 6 month's of trying many different detoxes etc. I hope my advice can help you. Firstly I'd recommend having an intolerance test done as you may be consuming foods that are irritating your gut and removing them from your diet and start eating gut friendly food. Secondly, i was constantly hungry and craving sugary foods, and figured out i had parasites in my gut. Sounds disgusting i know. There are ways to detox your body from this. If you search Dr. Berg on TH-cam you'll find a really good video about it. Lastly, most health issuses are related to either stress or trauma that you've not overcome. I hope this helps you and you get to the root cause of your gut issue.

      I appreciate you being genuine and transparent about your decision about social media and influencing. I agree October 7th really shifted my perspective and my values. I am not a content creator but I realized that what we need to be careful about where we spend our money. After watching our brothers and sisters in Gaza get slaughtered it made me realize this duniya is temporary. It also showed me how much we need Muslim entrepreneurs. The reason the Ummah is so weak is because we depend to much on the western world. We need to create our own brands. I hope in the future we see more Muslims working together and using their influence to help disadvantaged and marginalized communities.

    Hi!! I hope you see this comment - I used to have that exact same bloating issue for YEARS.
    My GI specialist had be try Xifaxin (may have spelled it wrong) and I’m pretty sure I’m cured.
    Might be worth looking into?

    I Absolutely think that you should be transparent and carry on boycotting and telling others also. You will come against a lot of pushback but do not let that stop you at all
    You will find many doors opening where others have closed
    Israel needs to be dismantled and all land given back to the Palestinians pre 1948 boarders. You go and say it loud and clear, you will have sooo much support inshAllah
    We are human beings who are believers
    A lot of people have no idea about Israel, that it is an illegal European creation and built solely upon terrorising and the slaughter of innocent Palestinians especially children.
    I recently listened to Candace Owens and what she said to Piers Morgan about being a coward for not speaking out against the genocide and mass killings of the innocent Palestinians especially the children
    When you have a voice especially on a public platform you must use it for the sake of ALLAH subhanahuwatallah
    We will not be stopped from fighting for the total freedom of the Palestinian people and their land that rightly belongs to the believers
    We cannot as human beings tolerate this mass slaughter and bloodshed that is state sponsored terrorism with the help of the US and Uk and others who are complicit in crimes against humanity
    Illegal Colonial occupation and apartheid cannot be tolerated not in South Africa and not in Palestine
    We stand against oppression with the oppressed and we are making duas and dua is the weapon of the believers
    May ALLAH subhanahuwatallah bring an end to this state sponsored terrorism and free the Palestinians and Masjid Al Aqsa Ameen Ameen
