Thanks for watching and thanks for the nice comment. This area is a great place to railfan for sure. Some folks don't like it because mostly intermodal trains run through here, but I love to capture all trains, so I love to visit this area.
Well where to start. That was great. A different format for this one and most likely bought about by not being able to go too far with roads closed but it was different in a good way. Really enjoyed it especially when it was actually snowing like the opening shot. The snow scenes just add a great aspect and it’s totally understandable that you have been waiting for the snow. Good sounds as well. Stayed in Seligman myself last US trip and would do it again. It was a railroad MOW worker I met in Ludlow that said to make sure I went there and I’m so thankful he told me. That was a long time ago and have visited many times now. How long was that intermodal parked there? Have seen that there myself and have waited a long time for them to move because it makes for a great video as they get the train moving but only ever saw it once. Other times I had to move on. Thanks again for a great video as well as the timing with a Sunday morning coffee Australia time.
If the highway had been open, I would have been able to hit more spots. I didn't care for being stuck in one darn spot, but I had to make the best of what I had and Seligman is good. I wanted to go up the hill to the cut east of town, but it was covered in snow and I didn't want to get stuck out there. That train was there at least 24 hours, but not sure how long for sure. When I came back through town on Sunday, another train was parked there though. I still feel tired from that trip, so now I am feeling my age for sure. Flagstaff to Seligman usually get one big snow (other snowfalls too, just not as much) snowfall per year and that is when I try to go out if it will work with my time off because the snow looks so good out there. Thanks for the essay on the video. I hope to finish another video this weekend, but I am going to take my camcorder in because the audio is not working like it should as you hear cars in the background and I can't stand that crap.
@@Atsf1976 I know what you mean by not being stuck in the one place but I think it worked in your favour for this one. I know it was a bit long of a comment but get excited about this area.
Thanks for sharing, we just returned home to the Midwest from this wonderful area. So many great places to catch trains.

Wonderfull shots! It‘s impressive to see snow up there. And the long trains!
Wow fantastic video especially with the snow. Great catches and have a wonderful rest of your Saturday.(Steve)
Thanks. The snow makes the surroundings look that much better to me. President's Day weekend, so I hope that you are out there catching trains. lol
@@Atsf1976 Your welcome and yes a holiday weekend. Might catch some stuff but have a lot of other things to get done.
