BNSF - Crawford to Alliance, NE - Fall 2023 (drone w/music)-Coal trains w/dpu only - Cream colors
BNSF - Crawford to Alliance, NE - Fall 2023 (drone)-Coal trains w/dpu only - Cream colors & pumpkins. This is just a short one, so I'll put it up during the week rather than making it a weekend premiere. The end is the best part of this video to me because I am able to follow the DPU's up through Crawford as they are in run 8 pushing hard. I just wish that I could have real audio attached to drone videos. Like I said, I am going to try and have some drone videos with real audio of the train.

Day 4 - Bill and Cheyenne, WY in 4k - June 2024 - Coal, manifests, grain, intermodal at 49mph? My last day out in Wyoming was alright, but not great since there are no trains for about a two hour drive as I recall. There was a good mix of freight though. @@Atsf1976 Thanks. Yes I really like the area especially if you get a heavy westbound using the original line. And good timing for coffee! Did you get to see the static Big Boy in town. I know it’s not the same as the operational one but it’s still good to see the size of them. Is the model railroad still operating in the depot?

@@richardk5849 I did get to see the Big Boy at the park, but I didn't pay to go in the museum. I just walked around the shop and then went back to train hunting. The wind got worse on day 2, especially out at Hermosa, so be prepared for the noise. I still don't like how they separated the tracks for westbounds and eastbounds. haha.

Thanks Richard and sorry about last week. No trains for me until the end of August, but I'm working on the Wyoming videos. As you can see, day one is posted. Next week's Tehachapi video may have a slightly blue tint to it as I hit the manual focus button on accident. I think that I was able to correct most of the clips, but we'll see. While this video camera (Panasonic) seems nice, I am thinking of trading it in for something else. It will occasionally have focus issues and my previous video camera (Sony) never had an issue with focus.

Thanks! I somehow missed this one when it premiered. Really don’t know how! I will blame on working! Anyway some great stuff in this one especially the sound. I think Bealeville and Caliente must be close to my favourite places in the Tehachapi area as well as Tehachapi depot itself because it’s basically the summit. And especially when heavy eastbound trains come through Bealeville and Caliente. That short eastbound UP intermodal was strange, to me anyway, but is that a regular occurrence? Thanks again!
