I live in Columbia falls Mt not far from where you are. Please tell me you are armed with a gun and not just bear spray. Also check out the reservoir in hungry horse Mt. It's beautiful
I think the screams you heard were ravens. Glad you have bear spray now! Keep on the look for any undesirables, please stay safe out there. BTW Mats off road again, epic!
Sydnie, Next time your hearing those noise in the bush, grab a good chunk of fire wood and knock it on a tree several times, maybe you will scare out of the area or draw it in who knows! sounds fun though, Thanks for Sharing be safe...
I live in my car too and literally laughed out loud when you said it was getting old in the heat 😂 100%feel ya. Try being out east with the humidity too 🥵 thankfully Fall is right around the corner 🙏 happy travels! ♡
Fun Video Sydnie. Thanks for sharing. I am going to be up near Butte in 2 weeks camping in the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee and being in bear country freaks me out too. I have to get bear spray as well.
Sydnie, you are doing a great job showing us those beautiful places but the weather is too hot and miserable. Follow the weather and see the spots when you look in advanced based on weather patterns. Hopes this helps. Aj.
Man... sorry about the heat... I notice a lot of car life types are doing the smart thing by being in the Northwestern states at this time of year... but the heat has just been brutal across the entire continent as summers just get hotter and hotter. Canada and Alaska may be more temperate this time of year but there may be other obstacles to going out of the lower 48.
Well, some would say that the combination of odd silence and eerie screams in the out of doors could mean there were sasquatch around... or not. 🤔 either way, it's an experience! 😊
Glad you got rid of the mice, bears 🐻 are more stealthy I think, I'd put money on moose, Elk or deer 🦌 for breaking sticks , then again I'm not familiar with grizzlies lol. Stay safe and have a great week
Laughing at yourself gets more often the more you solo..just think of all the others sweating and yelling at themselves.not pleasant..stay safe smart lady Dave
I think the noises you heard were birds. You are wise to maintain being on alert in Grizzly country. I know it's really hot in Montana now but winters can be brutally cold. Have you noticed any outlets in parking spaces at places like libraries and especially motels? Those are for you to plug in your vehicle to keep it from freezing when parked at night or for a long period. You may have noticed a plug sticking out through the front grill of some vehicles in Montana. That vehicle is equipped with an engine block heater. It's been a long time since I was in Montana and maybe new vehicle technology has made this equipment no longer necessary. But if you see a plug sticking out of the front grill of a vehicle with Montana license plates you'll know what it is. Have fun in Glacier National Park! You can go to the Canadian side which is Waterton Lakes National Park. Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park is a World Heritage Site. You will need a Passport but there are some beautiful mountains and lakes here. Handguns are prohibited from being brought into Canada. But I don't know about here at Waterton Lakes. If you have a firearm and are considering going into Waterton, you best check with local authorities. Bear spray is allowed to be taken into Canada as long as it's clearly marked Bear Spray. But mace and pepper spray are not allowed. Likewise with tasers. You will see some of the most spectacular scenery in both these Parks. Sorry about your foot. Hope it heals quick.
How did you cut your foot? Did you drop a knife on the foot or step on something sharp? Ready Player Two is worthwhile to read. I never read Ready Player One only seen the movie so as with any book-to-movie adaptation, there were a few things left out of the movie from what I gathered in Ready Player Two. I wonder if a walking stick will help with the hike. If I thought you could fit one in the car for future hikes, I would say find one you really like.
Re: the 'screams,' judging by the echo that can be heard, it would be coming from up in a tree. Any bird of prey can sound vicious, like eagles, hawks, etc..
@025 Voluptious would be the word I suppose. Although I probably spelled it wrong.Or perhaps scrumptious. Beautiful. I`m trying to say you`re pretty. I had to stop and smell the roses.
Maybe, you could ask ECOFLO for one of these, like this guy most likely did: (for product review demonstration's) th-cam.com/video/0GKVgdQEH6Q/w-d-xo.html Can EcoFlow Wave 2 Help Survive Scorching Heat? Tell them, you intend to show how it can be powered by the right amount of 600 Watt Solar Panels, which I'll tell you where to get later on for free,
Yes, you should go back to civilization. You are an accident waiting to happen! Car box (not locked down) stolen! A parking ticket! Mice in your car! Cutting your foot! Your hard drive died! On and on and on! At least you have a Garmin. Sing, get some maracas, beat a drum, play your radio to ward off bears. Whispering will not deter a bear. For mice, clean your car at least weekly. Read real life books on solo travel rather than fantasy so you can learn how to travel smart and safe. Best of luck. I'll check back in a month or so and see how you're doing.
You are absolutely my new prototype for how to approach life. Everything cool I already think matters, plus your things. Thank you. ❤

Make noise , don't whisper ! Best of luck and stay safe !

You cannot begin to understand, young lady, how much I admire and envy you.

I think I was in that same exact spot (your first one) or a very similar one outside the West entrance when I was up there in September 😅
Haha. Told ya that you'd love Montana. Wait till you get to Wyoming. I love this state. Good luck and safe travels to ya.
Fun Video Sydnie. Thanks for sharing. I am going to be up near Butte in 2 weeks camping in the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee and being in bear country freaks me out too. I have to get bear spray as well.
Damn, was that a mountain lion? I couldn't quite hear but had that Banshee sound like one.

Glad you caught all the mice. Those can irritate so,someone.

Bears generally make a lot of noise when walking through the woods… they don’t sneak around
Laughing at yourself gets more often the more you solo..just think of all the others sweating and yelling at themselves.not pleasant..stay safe smart lady Dave
Loved ready player one (book).
Bears don't want to be near humans. Make lots of noise.
The screaming could have been a mountain lion.
Maybe you encountered your first Bigfoot although not everybody is a believer stay safe out there you keep making videos I'll keep watching them 👍
All due respect, your thumbnails are adorable 😊

This looks like a really fun adventure.
You're going up the North Fork road and up McGinnis Creek I watched 2 bull moose fight there years ago.

Cool.. my daughter just camped in Glacier park and went rafting yesterday.
You are awesome, stay safe out there^^
How do you have mouse problems in your car? I’d be shopping for a new one.
The mouse deterrent looked like you were hiding drugs with a rubber band in your car. 😂
Really cool, and nice 👍.
What was the app you were using for finding spots?
Re: the 'screams,' judging by the echo that can be heard, it would be coming from up in a tree. Any bird of prey can sound vicious, like eagles, hawks, etc..
That bear spray will do nothing so don't count on it to help. Stay safe.
Nope! Not me. The territory is beautiful but there are Grizzlies. Stay safe and keep on keeping on
