I seriously believe that if not cos of the pandemic lockdown and the fact that at that time bl was still kinda at the up and coming stage (not as popular as it is today), that show wouldn't have gotten the traction it got. While BrightWin are both straight, they are meant to do their job and actually make you believe they are emotionally and physically attracted to each other. They tried in the emotional part, but anytime they would act out any intimate scenes, you could clearly see that these guys were straight and wanted no part of that 😅😅. Nanon on the other hand actually acted his role believably and stayed true to his character as an actor should.

Which are too many CPs causing poor focus, lackluster scripts, and poor screen engagement. They both reached the 500k viewership on airing. Where a poor performance on gmmtv for bl is less than 300k on airing. The rewatch rate is usually an additional 300-500k. So ideally they both did well. BB gets the extra star because it had a script that elaborated on gay rs. Additionally, they had Ohm who had already acted in several BLS prior. He is an exceptional boy kisser. 🤌 Co-star with Nanon, who is extremely versatile; made for powerful onscreen presence. I'm not judging their sexuality but the overall vibe during the show. But BW were definitely 4 feet apart, hands in the pocket because we're not gay cp. And ON we are close enough as friends, feeding off eo. The intimacy, flirting, banter and charm still exudes straight (for me). Overall, gmmtv suffers from writers who have zero clue about lgbt issues and rs. At one point I would have said their scripts were homophic in nature, even though everyone finds the show entertaining.
Now that time has finally allowed Nanon distance himself from his first and disastrous offscreen foray into BL, and Win has also extricated himself from his previous partner, it's time that if they both wish to further their careers in the BL genre, and I'm all for it. Whilst Win's BL series with Bright is still popular, I can't help but feel glad that we don't have to watch Bright invade the space anymore, just to get a leg up into mainstream entertainment. Poor Win definitely got the short end of the stick. Bright was even more wooden than Gxxod was in 2 Moons, and honestly, poor Win could have got more feeling kissing a plank of wood. Yes, Bright did improve in S2, but I personally don't think that Bright is that great as a actor, and although he did do a good job with his role in Midnight Museum, (maybe horror is his niche), I just couldn't get through F4, which is a shame for the other lead actors. And as a singer and musician, he makes a good actor! I'm glad he left the genre, but he will insist on popping up from time to time, which I find really annoying - if you're going to leave... just go... and don't be like others who've sworn never to grace the BL doorstep again, only to come crawling back because mainstream is obviously more competitive, especially when you realise that you may have been a big fish in the small BL pond, but there are so many more talented, popular, and sought after established actors in the huge mainstream lake that you have to compete against. As for Nanon. He learned an important lesson... Don't play an onscreen couple with a longtime friend, who has lots of experience in BL, especially one who has tantrums at the drop of a hat, who will try to blame you during interviews, and then subsequently create a huge spectacle of making an overacted public apology on stage. I'm glad Nanon took time away, if only to distance himself from Ohm, who now has a new partner, which for me is unfortunate, because once an actor proves himself unprofessional in any way, I refuse to watch or support anything he does. It's no skin off Ohm's nose if he loses a (former) fan, but it also means that I don't get to see or support anyone else in the same series. For OhmNanon fans, they now have a new Ohm couple to stan, leaving Nanon free to also find a new partner. All in all, I do hope that the rumours are true. Both Win and Nanon deserve a good BL series, and to finally move on from previous associations can only be a good thing. Hopefully there'll be an official announcement soon.
