Thank you for making this video. I live in Christchurch NZ. There are no demonstration Opus Lites to look at here, so it makes a purchase decision difficult:-)
Thanks for the videos. We picked up our Lite a couple of weeks ago and have only slept in it for one night so far. Is there a video on what to do with all the little things like the side canvas clips and hooks, where to put them and how to use them properly ?
Thanks mate , it tows great offroad specially on the beaches I think you could tow it fine with an SUV like an xtrail, or equivalent wouldn't go any smaller theb that though Definetly need a brake controller
Hey Mate, loving all the videos! You’re a huge help with what you do on this channel! Got a question for ya, I just picked up my OP4 yesterday with my D3 and I’m getting flashing indicators once connected to the car. Everything works, brake lights, reverse, and indicators but when everything is off they have a slight flash to the indicators. Did you have a similar problem with your OPUS? Any solutions?
Hey Michael thanks mate 🍻 , yeah with led trailer lights there's not enough load coming from them so the disco sends out a test pulse continuously You can make your own flasher relay or buy one that goes in between disco and trailer I bought one for about $200 but you can make your own for about $50 if your handy I didn't have time so bought one from these guys smartlogicelectrical.com.au/shop/ols/products/land-rover-discovery-3-lr3-l318-led-towing-adaptor-module I went for a 7 pin large for vehicle to a 7 pin round as I had other trailer with a round plug so converted the opus to a round plug But you would opt for 7 pin large from vehicle to 7 pin flat to trailer
Thanks mate ! All I've done really is just tow it behind me on my normal 4wding days out as covid is stopping us from going camping anywhere in it at the moment , done a decent beach run Sunday and hit some dunes and still managed to do 80% of the hills I normally get up but definetly work the forby alot harder to get to where I want to go haha, will be doing plenty more videos on it . Only other tip is I'd say upgrade your battery straight away the factory ones I'm not to impressed with and 100ah just isn't really enough for us Anything else on the trailer you want to look at at all if so make a list and I'll upload a vid for you 👍👍
you probably dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last months xD
I like to deflate the awning first before the tent So that it doesn't push it over when deflating. Apart from that I put the back cushion infront of the table so there low and have removed the corner ones as I hate them So for us it packs up pritty easy probly the most I.portant things are drag as much of the annex into the dinning area rather then ontop the bed And when you fold the bed over make sure the mattress does not get caught on the front seal , we normally stop when 3/4 closed and re adjust/pull what we need to away from the front join so that you can see daylight through it and then close him up
@@jamiebarnes9022 yeah it definitely feels tight with a topper on , I like to wind out the end latches and hook them on and let the tent sit for a minute before tyring to close it anymore , I find this helps push any left over air out of the beams and makes it slightly easier to close , but it is definitely still prittu tight
Hey Ben not really unfortunately that is now where they battery and compressor go on the lites u have about 3-4inches from kitchen to the divider wall for the battery but apart from that nothing much at all
@@OUTBACKDiscovery Ah I see, I like your kitchen extension video, nice work, still an odd spot for the sink, I wonder how hard it would be to switch the cooktop and sink around. fair bit of cutting and messing about most probably.
I'm in w.a so by the time.u pay transport fees and onroad I think it's 25500 I have a roofrack coming for it but it wasn't in stock at the time so it will be installed once it arrives but our final price was 26500

No dramas mate we are loving out op lite

Good luck with the purchase , there's a bit of a wait for them currently
Thanks for the videos.

Hey Tim not that I have seen for the lite yet ,
Can try and make one for you over the next few weeks maybe
Great Video, how was it to tow offroad do you think a smaller SUV could handle it as they advertise?

@Zander Kristopher Yup, I have been using instaflixxer for since december myself =)
Any tips on packing down with the awning on? Is there a trick to it?

@@OUTBACKDiscovery awesome thanks, we have a topper too just feels a tad tight when closing. Don’t want to damage the latches. Will give it a go ….

Is there any storage behind the kitchen (the reason it being so short and cramped) can that space be accessed from under the couch seat?

@@thisiswherestoriesgrow yeah I reckon it would probly be easier to just get a different kitchen installed then to modify
Could you please send me the measurements of the fridge area
990mm long 530mm wide 475mm high
The showroom box was only 465mm high just something to be aware of
I’ve gottta get me 1
Will let you no how it goes we had a little nap on it for an hour and it was nice but havnt taken it camping yet with the new topper
Is there option for outside shower?
Hey mate you can get an ensuite area but it has a floor so probly would not be any good for a shower area we will just run a pop up shower tent
how much should we expect to pay? buying 1 next week.

that's NOT easy!
Depends on what your comparing it to I suppose as far as forward fold camper trailers go this is as easy as u get in my opinion
