After 4 years - when watch this announce again, I'm still supporting them. The result was rigged but Mnet had their vision, and the 9 memebers just made it Fromis_9.

They weren't showcasing Gyuri during the show at all tho, and they only started paying attention to Jisun because of her killing part
@@villain__9 the way the 'rigging' worked was that they didn't like the actual final lineup so they played around with how the voting system works without informing the audience until they had a lineup they liked

many years later, i still feel bad for haein, the supposed to be original center. everytime fromis_9 succeeds be it music show win or album sales, i feel proud but at the back of my mind, i cannot imagine how bitter it is for the members that were rigged out of the lineup/show
deep down they know they deserve it but they dont fit the group, hence its best for them

i doubt jiwon is among the rigged members - even though she was placed alongside haein, i don't think it was her vs. haein (tbh they handled the final announcements SO weirdly???) if i had to guess it'd be gyuri/seoyeon/jisun (although gyuri is among if not the most popular member these days, so i guess it paid off for them...) sigh

@@hasnever7669 I don't think Jiwon result was rigged, she was among top 9 until the last previous episodes that was placed 10th/11th. I agree that Fromis_9 can't be formed without main vocal Jiwon. The riggered members amount is not announced so just forget that.

For people who said they didn't cry, you guys should watch the full video.
They cried when speech or saw their friends not debuted. Except nagyung and seoyeon. I think they felt confident because they always in debut rank. And seoyeon once said that she can't cry easily.
Jiheon's mom also didn't expect when jiheon debuted.
It means, the members didn't know if the rank was rigged or not.
nakyung, gyuri, jiwon and chaeyoung are suprised because they ranked low before, the other members are consistent high ranking so maybe they expect it alr.
I think Jiwon and Jisun weren't part of the rigged/confirmed members. Jiwon's reaction look so real and touching and Jisun only rose to fame thanks to her killing part

just to say something, I know the show was rigged but it was rigged in a much more different way than usual. When the producers or whatever saw the final lineup, they werent too much of a fan so they played around with the voting system without informing the public(making some parts of the votes worth more than the others) and then when they saw the new lineup, they decided to go with that. The members weren't really predetermined or chosen specifically to be in the group (obviously they had people they wanted in the lineup but they werent already chosen to be in the group)
Even tho I love fromis so much. I wish natty made it

I guess idol school's main agenda was to promote fromis and to build up hype but I doubt every single one of the members was already decided before the start

It's obv still a stupid and ignorant thing to rig the show but as we saw with every rigged survival gg, there is atleast 1 or 2 members who debuted JUST for their visuals and lack either in vocals or dance or both. But with fromis_9, they rigged but they are all talented and there is no black sheep. Visual and vocally and also dance wise they are all amazing. Seems like only jiwon and chaeyoung didn't know they would debut.

_I doubt all members were rigged. I think Jisun seemed to have a natural climb based on the episodes I watched. Also thanks to that killing part which made her rise to fame. Jisun and Hayoung also got good attention and screentime. Jiwon’s reaction during the finale looked so real. So I doubt most of them were rigged._

Felt sad for the trainees who were supposed to be in fromis9 but didnt due to vote manipulation. This show is so rigged that it made it difficult to stan them. I wish those trainees genuine happiness and love.

Not true at all, the rigged thing rumors spread in 2019 while Fromis debuted in 2018 so this show itself was a flop show no one in Korea or international fans give af about this show
One of the reason why this show rigged is because this show doesn’t have many viewers to vote so they manipulated the vote to look like there’s someone voting but in fact the votes can’t reach 10-15k It’s so little number

I'm glad it was rigged then lmfao, I never watched this show but fromis_9 and IZ*ONE has the best songs, visuals, and chemistry, I wish Kep1er was rigged, too many people chose sub-par visual girls who had "tAlEnT" (you can change skill but you can't change your face + this is kpop, it was never only about the talent/music and you know it) and then had the audacity to say they wanted an elegant concept for the group when they clearly fit teen/girl crush more (don't get me even started with txt nepotism + pity votes for clc, but I digress)
Notice how the rigged out girls in both groups were the girl-crush types who can really ruin the whole concept for the group (as its common for girl-crush type girls can only do girl crush not very flexible in concept) or older-aged/past their prime (sadly)
It would be better if audience voted for the girls they wanted earlier on and later when the trainee pool gets smaller, the show handlers have a say on who needs to debut to make a coherent/successful group

Kep1er has an excellent dance line, 6/9 members could easily be the main dancer, Chae Hyun and Young Eun are okay vocalists, and Dayeon and Hikaru are good rappers.
