I always love the footwork with Monsta X. Most groups focus on hand movements but because cameras don't always show the full length of the body, a lot of groups don't focus there.

Yeah, it's totally a prop, he is not injured his name is I.M and he is one of the rapper alongside with JooHeon the one with white hair (wearing all black and white shoes)
Jooheon produced the last 3 title tracks and since he is heavily inspired by Michael Jackson, you are spot on with the MJ influence on the sound. Also, the cane is a pimp cane which is a reference to '90s hiphop.

As they say, better late than never. The I.M swag is real. Be sure to see him in Gambler, because it seems like many of the dance moves in Love are VERY him. For a demonstration of the whole group with props, check the last bit of Beautiful. My favorite choreo is a toss-up between Shoot Out and Gambler, because somehow they're so different. They're great dancers, though, even without their 6th member, leader Shownu, currently in the military. Glad you had a chance to look at them and enjoy some of the reason Monbebes stan. Most of their choreos come from FreeMind, which has got a TH-cam channel, too. They post original choreos on there which you can then compare to see how the group has adapted them to fit their needs.
