A lot of people lease these machines so everything is covered under warranty and when the next best one comes out you better deal on that lease or sale if you really want to buy one.
@@westtxharvester I bet they are a little bit more pricey than the previous models. I would really like to see one in a demo; too bad I don’t live in an area that grows cotton.
@@MultiTurbospeed you would still need multiple pickers depending on acres, it would just be more efficient. I’m curious if the improvements will be worth the price increase because baler pickers are already almost 1 million dollars
Here in North Mississippi we operate a CP690 and 2 CP770s and they really are wonderful. Cuts out the need for Module Builders and gets a lot more work done than the 4 row pickers we used to operate. When you farm 14 thousand acres of it they really get the job done and the cotton the gin quicker and more efficiently. The cotton gin comes out and picks ours up so yea it’s very efficient! Rather than the 4 row pickers dumping into the KBH boll buggy’s then having to build all the modules.
Tangy Diesel, thanks for your interest! We can't comment on future offerings, but we encourage you to keep in touch with your local dealer for information on new product introductions. You can find a list of dealers in your area and their contact information at Deere.com/Dealer. We hope this helps.

@@ramanbhadu1 not much is wasted. Unless it’s a really windy day and you are dumping into the cart / module builder. Guys out in Kansas / Texas panhandle where it’s windy all the time run vacuum hoses on their buggies to clean up around the module builder. Here in Tennessee, a guy will usually rake up what little cotton is spilled around the module builder

Thanks for the question, Aaron. There are three available headers for our next generation of Cotton Harvesters. The SH8R Folding Stripper Header can accommodate 36-, 38-, and 40-inch rows; the SH12R can handle 30-, 32-, and 36-inch rows, and the SH12F can take on 38- and 40-inch rows. Game changer, Still ten steps ahead of the other manufactures 🚜
Scared 🥺 y did you say?
BETTER THAN THE 1700'S VERSION!!
Thinking back to picking 2 rows at 3.7 mph, and thinking that was really covering ground back in the 90s. 20 acres was a very very long day

Do they do a slo-mo with dramatic music when the guy walks into the bank to ask for a 900,000$ loan?
Lmao

I think these new pickers are gonna be great for cotton harvest 2021
Farming simulator was so good they turned farming into a real thing 🥵

So dumb
lol
You did a great job with this video. It was super enjoyable!
If you wanna be able to farm next year, keep the old basket strippers rolling lol
I love John Deere keep going with this
I was waiting for Deere to upgrade the machines for cotton growers.
Apples to apples they’re about 48k more than a CS690 so 760-790k depending on options. But I bought 2 extra heads so under a million

In my days we didnt have no fancy machine
i would use the one that folds up
I can definitely see the improvements, but the real question is how much more is it going to cost?
$1 million dollars but you pretty much would need only 1 machine

Black Peopled needed this in 1492 **** the irony of this contraption!
And the machine doesn't talk back to you or nothing. No need for disciplining. All around more efficient.
I like the CP770 picker I seen the previews at the john deere dealership I work at here in north texas

Nice new machines.
Nice and attractive machine, the moment I saw It I forget about my old old story. 🤷💗🤑
Here in India we pick cotton 2 to 3 times from the same plant... Does this machine impact the plant for further picking?
Look alot different then they used too-👴🏻
So I see the 12 row striper head is made to work with 40 inch rows.
Will they make a 16 row/30 inch model? It would be the same overall width of 40ft.

Magnificent machine
How much is it?
Is this the x9 cab ?
Nice...
They should make these harvesters in Black instead of green.
Nice tractor
Where to buy in India
I want to buy price
John deere must make compact cotton pickers for countries like Pakistan and India, For smaller fields.
They still make brand new 4 row 9970’s for export to those regions.
