Hey Neil, that looked like a hard ride! Great video as always….except the special effects with the leaves. Not up to Wilson’s and my tumble weed standards set on your Peaks and Plateaus ride. 😂 Cheers! 🍻 Parker
As an Arizona resident for the last 17 years, I can vouch that it didn’t really cool down until the second week of November. I want to try this route, but after watching this video, I have a lot more training to do. The desert is unforgiving, even in late October.
It's just unfair, the amount of astonishing bikepacking routes in the US so absurd. There is just not that kind of wilderness anymore in western europe. Great video.
Mighty fine! Inspired me to go ride my boring county park that's rather redundant at this point. So thanks! Drones make everything better. Nice coverage fellas and hats off to Chris for the single speed intestinal fortitude. Vids like this are much appreciated in a world where a lot of folks don't need to quit their day job... 😁
Cool vid! Glad you got to check it out. This loop is in need of some updating however. A better version to check out a nice loop from Flagstaff is Verde Valley Randonee.
Couscous with dried fruits and nuts, a crumbled stock cube in there and some dried mint. Just add water (cold soak or hot) for a delicious and nutritious bikepacking meal. Enjoy!
I know you folks are busy, but hoping you could mention what bikes you rode to handle the chunk. Hardtail for sure - but which ones? Thanks for some really nice footage.
Great vid, love the day by day recap you each provided! I always wonder how the heck you carry a camera, a drone, probably a smaller action camera, and a ton of batteries, plus your tent and other bikepacking gear!? 😮
I know that feeling Neil, I've lost count of the number of times I've written Scott out of my will, only to discover a little later that it was all worth it ; -)
For hikabiking suggest nothing up front, a headshock or ft shock & seatpost shock, rear rack takes everything. For obstacles a hand on the seattube pulls the load over, toptube is free to grab, front end is free, my rear brake on left to control it non drive side can inch load up stuff & stop to reset feet. Just a reaction ... looks like way more work 🍺
Amazing footage, and I know the video probably doesn’t do it justice. Hey how did you guys carry your water? I saw full frame bags, bottles, but where did they go?
Thanks! your right, It really doesn't, I should have got the drone out for the hike-a-bike! I had 3 liters in my frame bag, and another on my top tube. Never ran out, but we were starting to worry on day two before we hit that amazing "little mini" of a river.
Loved the narrative style of this video. Lot of personality came through, made for a great watch!

Any trip where you live off burritos and tacos is a great trip.

Oh boy, this has got us missing summer in a big way.... and It's only November. Good ride fellas!
We have a few good trips videos set to publish this winter to fuel the stoke. Thanks for watching.
Wow! What the views!
Thanks for pretty piece of autumn! And thanks for warning!)))
Beautiful I never knew Arizona had that kind of beautiful country
few people do! 1/4 of the state by area is forested
What a great ride. Thanks for the video. Almost time here for the studded tires on that Fat Bike. Take care, Al
Great work! This route is on my list! Fun to watch you guys do it.
Man. You started 4 days after we did this trip. Loved reliving it through your video. That made my day! ❤❤❤

Loop looks awesome. Great story telling and editing too.
Reminds me of the Oregon Timber Trail... only more deserty.

Whoops, wrong video!

I passed you as I was pedaling up perkinsville! glad you got out and enjoyed the Coconino loop, love the possibilities of big rides from Flagstaff

“Because Scott Morris” haha yup. Old man Mingus adds to its status!
That taco 🌮 looked and sounded nice 😊 I would love to bike pack Arizona but my routes won’t take me that way. Beautiful state
Sick trip! 🤙🏼🚵🏻♂️
looks brilliant, cant wait to do this when i get my gravel bike next year (in scotland to start!)

the mileage and vertical yall did each day had me out of breath. Wow!
Very nice work, it's not usually that hot in AZ in October is it?

Great adventure! What bike is Neil on?
Neil, Can I ask a real question; why don't youtubers post the actual date of their trips for others to reference? Mabe I'm missing it...
09:50 :" back side was just chaundry" . "Chaundry" definition? (Really feeling my age here).
chunder = chunk
Just a stranger way to say "chunder-y", which to me also implies loose conditions.
