- Final boss fight versus Bowser and ending of Super Mario Galaxy 2. The game requires you to beat Bowser again after getting 120 stars for an alternate ending where you unlock the green comet stars.

You gotta admit it, this game's ending is pretty light-hearted then the first game being a gut-wrenching ending.

I feel galaxy 2 is rushed as it dose not have much of an overworld and the galaxy selector is like a 2d mario game, also rosalina baraly apperes let alone remembers the whol lats game. Im sure if mario did it once rosalina would come to him for help the second time, but instead she almost never apperes in the game.

This final Bowser fight is pretty good, but the ending phase? It looks so epic as hell! But it's also a bit anticlimactic due to how easy it is. So, in my opinion, Galaxy 1's final boss is the best.
