- With this silver stacking warning, I tell you what you should do and not do during the banking crisis. People are getting really scared! And in this video, I’m going to give you some suggestions with all the turmoil going on in our bank deposits, cash, investments, and with precious metals. Most financial advisors and common everyday wisdom tell you to put your money in a bank. The government insures your deposits, so they’re safe. And people put their life savings into banks and credit unions. The truth is our entire banking system is a house of cards. A long line of dominoes that one banking institution can start falling. The FDIC has around $126 billion in reserves. Sounds like a lot but considering that there are almost $10 trillion in insured deposits, but it’s pathetically small. Just over 1%! And that doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the uninsured deposits that banks are literally begging the FDIC to cover! Almost 200 banks are in the same boat that Silicon Valley Bank was in, and they all want to have their deposits covered regardless of the amount for two years! Silver and gold are a must with what has happened with Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank and other mid-size banks that are asking the FDIC and Federal Reserve to do. Do not go all in is the best tip you can recommend. By going all in you run the risk of not paying your bills which will cause you to have to dip in to your stack which defeats the purpose of stacking. Set a budget, dollar cost average and stack wisely. 👌

I buy and sell classic cars and motorcycles here and there. Every time I have to get large amounts of cash from my bank, I have to make an appointment. And they’re not happy with big cash withdrawals, and let you know that in a subtle way. They stalk you when they want your business, then treat you like trash when you give them your business. I can’t stand them.
Uk here , we’re the same . The system is a joke and set like that on purpose.
We have 6 race car projects and cringing at spending time and money to complete them . Still money in them but may have to take a hit when selling . Need to buy a property in the next 18 months . Investing in gold silver but only for 18 months for security. Also building a catering trailer for extra income / backup. And two of us work full time . Talk about back up plans !!! . Ditching banks as mouth as possible. Even a bit of crypto is safer than in the bank ( nearly) . Hate anything digital/ online banking . ‘F’ the system.
I asked my bank for 9K in cash to buy a van. They had to scramble around to come up with that much money. I left there with a cash envelope stuffed with twenty dollar bills.

It is true, banks frown upon cash withdrawals these days, it's stupid... that's their job! My bankers are friendly to me but yeah I see the weird looks on their faces if I withdraw more than 2k at a time

Great video Yankee! Thanks for the reminder not to panic stack. I feel that a lot of newer stackers are making larger purchases because they think they need a lot of gold and silver right now. Slowly and surely will work. It is best to give attention to other preps (food, water, protection, etc.) and be prepared all around.

I have made some impulse buys but because they were a good deal. The news of late made me wonder about being reactive, but I have been resistant to that emotional stimuli. Spot on. I'm glad you brought up the issue of the FDIC shooting most of their wad to bailout SVB. It seems few are bringing this up, and fewer are pointing out the moral hazard of giving insurance coverage to deposits that were not insured. Who pays for this generosity? Are they now requiring insurance payments for the billions that were covered without insurance?

Don’t sell your Metal just because you see big up tick. Hold steady you’ll need it more after the U.S. Currency is defaulted to $0. If you are thinking you want worthless Currency instead. Spend it the second you acquire it. Because Inflationary Pressures will be the Wind that strips your wealth in that case.

What I hate about your videos is that they’re over before I know it. They go by so fast! Lol
Great video as always. Very interested to see your CBDC video when it drops. Just started stacking in the last few months. I have a budget that I use, it isn't much, but it is what I know I can do comfortably without throwing myself into the trenches with the wife and kids. I pull about $150 the first pay period and up to $200 the second. Like I said, it isn't much, bit right now I am at 34 ounces in the last few months plus a little Constitutional and some sterling. Every little bit that I cam add is getting added. I do have a couple of tricks up my sleeve though, and if they work, I will be started my own channel from the perspective of a new Stacker in this environment and how I come up with additional funds to buy silver and eventually gold.

I cashed in 3 IRA , but when I filed taxes I had payed enough medical bills that I had no penalty, so there is that, and the IRAs all bought gold, and silver that is in my safe.

Agreed about the house of cards. It will be interesting to see which domino falls next and what it hits on the way down. To your point about not owning your money deposited in the bank, anyone who has gone to the bank to withdraw $10,000 in cash has likely suffered through the runaround of "You'll need to put in a request, we don't have that much on hand." Infuriating. Even worse, they may even tell you, "We have to make sure we have enough give a little bit to all of our customers." I was dumbfounded when I heard that. Good to see you.

I agree. Do not panic buy. Do the smart dollar cost averaging over time. I'm not taking all my cash out of the bank, but have stacked some cash to cover expenses if need be.

I make absolutely every purchase with cash. At the end of the day I collect my ones and 5s.. and also look for pre 82 pennies.
Some 1982 Penny’s are copper weigh them 3.2 grams, non-copper penny’s weigh only 2.8 grams. never read a date again just weigh them much faster and no squinting to read dates.

Excellent advice, especially for those who recently sold their home. The proceeds have to go somewhere in the short-term, especially when done as a wire transfer. A concern I have is when buying precious metals and the time comes to sell it, any profits must be reported to the IRS, correct? That would be hard to keep track of when buying/selling at different times to record what the original purchase price was. And who will accept gold/silver when SHTF? That remains an unknown until it happens.

I agree if you can’t hold it you don’t own it. With the banking crisis and inflation cash is trash.
You can take a loan against your employer 401k plan. No penalties. You pay back after tax money from your paycheck, and you pay yourself interest. Everyone's situation is different, but it's an option to protect yourself with stacking in case the financial system collapses. Again, it's an individual option. Not financial advice.
Let me add one other part of the story most people are unaware. True you pay yourself back the interest, however, you're paying your loan with after tax dollars, into your pre tax account. Double taxation.
@Ken Fiddes like I said, it's an option. If you are a firm believer, we will witness hyper inflation where those dollars become worthless. I'd prefer to have silver and gold in hand than a promise to have US dollars in 10 years or more from a 401k. You can also figure those taxes you are paying out of check is balanced by company match which again is a promise in a distant future with a US debt of over $40 trillion. The collapse his here we all must make perhaps unpopular choices to protect some of what we have worked so hard for.
I am with you on all aspects. I especially do not want anything to do with CBDC.
