I love how as I went through this video, I could come up with atleast 1 example with how I screwed up at each of the 13 points, even though I am decently experienced. Like yesterday I threw away my RIllaboom and Illumise which checked my opponents Scarf Great Tusk. I will 100% be recommending this video to everyone I know as all of these are so crucial. One thing you definitely could have also included was being "Try not to get triggered if you get haxed". Most of the time there are other ways you can win the game. Its a very tough thing to try to get to grips with, but the recent TDT experience really helped me refine myself where I kept getting haxed in every mock and most of my earlier season games. 10/10, super insightful. I cant wait for more of these educational videos
Aww, thank you! I am glad it was helpful! This made my day! Yep, that's a good one. Trying to not tilt when hax happens is definitely an important one. Got to keep your cool and still try to win! 🥰
Finished watching this video and I'm afraid to say that I have the worst feedback you could give an aspiring creator: I agree with pretty much everything you say here. That's not always constructive or helpful but this was extremely insightful even for a standard singles player like me. I really appreciate it.
This video was really good - ‘pretty much every tip in here is something I stress and emphasize for other people seeking my help; I was happy to see these concepts put in a video and articulated well.
I agree so much with point 10 and it's what I tell people all the time, when I'm trying to help them out. Too many mid level players will turn situations that aren't a 50/50 into a 50/50 and it makes their play really inconsistent. They're making unecessary plays, and thinking of things too black and white. I won't go on any longer since.... It's in the video, but lol. I'm glad to see this particular point being brought to light in a video because I wholeheartedly agree with it
Ive been watching draft content since gen 6, played a bit here and there, done a whole lot of mock drafting. Found this video really really good. Lots of points I don't think I'd have considered in parts, especially with the game constantly evolving how it does. It's so easy to neglect prioritising roles over types
Going into a draft league with friends and this vid definitely makes me feel a lot more confident in the builder and ingame, very very well done video 👍
Point 5 hits me hard. In my last draft I had a pretty good team, but I had no way to deal with Iron Bundle under terrain at all. When I had to face it, it was the most one sided match I've played, it didn't matter how many mons I managed to kock out, Bundle just kept comming in and revenge killing me. I got luck this opponent make it to playoffs, if I had to face him again I'm confident it would end up the same.

Yeah, Iron Bundle is a fantastic revenge killer, precisely for that reason!

Someone send this to Reverend so he can see it and not end up as the third lowest player in his own draft league
