I know this is late :D, but your IR packs are top notch, especially the Barefoot and Red Giant Packs, they are favorites among a huge market of others paid and free, thanks Res I am a huge fan, you are one of the content creators that got me most progress in home recording
I really like that you mention the tuning and type of mics on the guitar, it really affects the sound. These facts are often missing in other 'tubers tests. People sometimes complain about not getting a heavy tone, well maybe that has to do with their 50's Stratocaster being tuned to E standard =)

Its mad how the Goblyn sounded good through every IR you just showed it with. Some sims really wont work with some IRs and vice versa, but all your IRs seemed to get a great tone out of it. Also reminded me I dont have a couple of these packs as well, cheers!
Strangely enough, I've been playing with the Goblyn for the last few hours and going through tons of IRs and finally sticking with Barefoot 1 as always. There's just something about that IR that works for my ears I actually think the Goblyn sounds pretty good on it's default settings. Easily one of the best freebies out there!
i'm so used to seeing you use Pulse as your main IR loader that it felt like whiplash when you busted out NadIR for this vid lol also i haven't been using your IRs as much as i should, this is a good reminder for me to use them more. easily some of the best IR packs around, free or not
Thanks man. NadIR simply has more space to click on the IRs. Pulse is a little annoying because of the tiny space but I still prefer it because of it's streamlined, less options UI.
Thanks great channel, maybe with a computer with program i could run IR's , although i do not have anything to connect or anything, just a laptop without a disc drive, and use only hard copy, oh well, Really love your jensen raptor clips and nighthawk clips you should make more clips of each one separately with the B906 sounds awesome

So cool to hear that you're using an Amarok for this video. I was wondering both, what you were using to play and also what people have been thinking about that Amarok. 🤘
You'll hear quite a harsh frequency the when you boost it, can be almost painful and there also can be whistly sounding resonances around there too so reducing around 3, 4 or 5k helps with that. Some tones won't need hardly any work but mine do Coz I use raw IRs. Hope that helps!

@@resington I recently switched to Pulse because, apparently, it introduces less latency than NadIR. NadIR is still great, though.
I cant wait for Aurora to update FenIR to handle all irs... it just sounds really good 👍
