Awesome 1st person view drifting experience! Any chance you know of a track near southern California where I can join a similar drift day? I can't wait to try it! Lol
Looks like a fun to drive car..would you recommend this or an 86 over say a GTI or Miata or Honda SI? Please advise which handles better and is more fun?
dry509 GTI and honda are front wheel drive so you won't be drifting in them. Miata and BRZ are both really solid and reliable, miata just has less power and a soft top
Sorry, it's not clear to me what you're doing to initiate the drift? It looks like you are just turning in and that's it! Do the tires really have that little of grip?!
He's using throttle to initiate the drift, especially with entry oversteer in wet on snow tires. On top of that his stability is off, and he's probably clutch kicking and braking to help it get sideways. Put all those factors together and the car snaps out easily.
At least for snow drifting in my awd Subaru I’ve found the e brake is less effective than a clutch kick. So depending on grip levels you are better off initiating a drift with braking or clutch kicks. Japanese old school drifters don’t use e brakes and it results in a very smooth transitions when changing the direction of their drifts. Also e brake on awd isn’t good for either the rear diff or the transmission or something like that I’ve heard. Throttle modulation and brakes :D it’s taken a lot of practice to use the brakes instead of the e brake but you definitely aren’t as likely to lose control of the drift if you just use brakes instead. But obviously with enough practice the e brake has more advantages for drifting. Hope that helps :D
BRZ owner here.... Folks, I'm sorry but the internet mislead you: the Burz/ 86 is not THAT tailhappy. Even with Vsc off, you can't accidentaly "oops drift" an 86 driving to work. Unless it snows or something.
Most people don't know about the pedal dance ... you have to do it and it will literally turn everything off. Only real touge homies know about the pedal dance. Because when you do the pedal dance .... guess what ... the car also does a dance.
My man how do you slide so easily? What tyres and which size you were using? I have 215 45 17 R Michelin PS4 and I have to force the car heavily to make it slide
That thing slides like butter. Great driving.
Rayzor AMG was about to say this^^^
That sheer amount of joy mixed with disbelief in your voice after that 360 was priceless
What a great use for winter tires.
Man, this looks extremely fun. Love what you do!
Okay, I've had enough. Time to hook up the steering wheel to the PS3 and fire up GT5.
never read something more relatable
3:25 that was cool!
This is the most excitement I’ve heard in any of your videos, haha. Looked and sounded like a ton of fun!
Did the car behind have a camera? I'd like to see that awesome 360-degree trick from that camera.
Yeees... I thought the same.
This is such an underrated video
This is exactly why I'll be getting a brz next year, so much fun!! Great drifting skills!
How was it
did u like the brz?
*Inital D / Eurobeat intensifies*
I gotta drive my BRZ just like you do man amazing skill bro!
I only wish you had footage of you drifting from outside!
Your so smooth with it damn
You make it look easy man
Great job bro. It's butter when it clicks but the BRZ is so forgiving. #MadeForMe
Awesome video man! Real happiness and something badass
Your passenger is correct. This is badass.
Ah man, feels like a dream even on camera! Can't image in real life.
Well that is really slippery
ATTA BOY CHRIS!!!!
Nice drifting!
Looks like you're in control !!!
My favorite part is that you get better at doing a 360 at about 7:30. :u)
You make the brz look so fun
Between watching this and forza motorsport i think im finally ready to drift
Nice drifting! Initial T style...
Great drifting man!
That looks so fun!
Awesome driving!
so much fun I wish I could go to a track like that
Nice driving , Winding magazin is your channel too ?
Hi Chris!

your POV Videos are amazing!

Is traction control turned off here in this video? Still learning the basics of drifting

Mario Kart good point..thanks.
Hi, good job.
Are winter tires the secret to butter drifting??
What is your opinions when you used the Eneos Sustina 0w20? Sorry for my Bad English, thanks!
Any downsides to removing clutch helper spring? Does it damage the transmission?
Nope, do it up!
Awesome

N A N I ! ! ! !
Shall I buy this as my first car or the 370z
Alaan Dalaak brz all the way, I’m getting one soon I’ll letcha know when i get it.
I've been wondering the same
370Z is more power...BRZ you can safely powerslide at every intersection whereas a 370Z if you're losing grip you better know what you're doing
Bought a FRS '14 ... picking it up soon :) can't wait to drive it
370 had a open diff so you need to weld one or buy one to drift
So you don’t use the handbrake, just kicking the clutch

Golden God what about e break in RWD cars
Will you be doing a review on the 2018 Toyota Camry RSX?

TheBigDanois of course it’s not tail happy but the driver can force the car to be tall happy 🙌

I have definitely oopsy drifted it when it gets a little wet
it can be if you want it to be. I have one
syed bokhari pedal dance? Please elaborate
It looks easy until I tried it on my dads car and now its broken 😭 just kidding😂😂
:)

the fact you casually turned a spin out into a 360 😤🫠
that handbrake pull made it smoooth
