    I work for Breeze as a flight attendant. They do plan to bring meals for the longer flights. the Chex mix you ate is usually sold to passengers and not given.

    One thing that I didn’t hear mentioned was the nicest seat also comes with 2 free checked bags, a free carry on bag, and a personal bag. That alone is around $120 in savings (give or take depending on flight route) so it definitely seems worth it to me. Hoping to try it out next year and look forward to the next video

    I love Breeze Airlines. They had trainees on my flight and they were amazing. They were kind and jovial with each other. The flight was the smoothest ever. I treated myself to an upgrade in the nicest seats because I’m an old and portly gal!! Sooo comfortable!! Loved the tray tables for my phone and snacks. I flew from RIC to SF and we were there in just under 5 hours. I fly frequently to San Francisco and that was my most comfortable flight yet. Didn’t really care about having a meal. My guess is that this is a new airline that is evolving as much as time allows. Highly recommended!!❤

  • @TaylorTravelsTheWorld

    Completely agree that a meal offering, even for a cost, should be offered on such a long flight. The seats look very, for lack of a better term, nice. Gotta love the A220

      @@sanspotter breeze isn’t profitable even right now offering nothing on a 5 hour flight other than a bottle of water and and some leftover Halloween candy while also paying their crew legitimate PEANUTS. I don’t understand the optimism with breeze. There’s nothing innovative here. When you look at all the reasons why other airlines don’t fly underserved routes with First Class Nonstop it’s because the demand falls off a cliff when you start charging for what it actually cost to operate it

  • @piphastings6734

    I've heard Breeze is discussing real food options and ovens in the A220. However you mentioned it in your review, you paid an AMAZING price for a transcon, premium seat. With that amazing price, there may be a subtraction or two, including hot food. In addition, it adds to the workload of a Flight Attendant and weight of an airplane. I bet they will want to work out all the kinks like you mentioned before they start any additional service. Great video. I've wanted to fly the A220 for a long time and hopefully I will get a chance soon.

    • @jblyon2
      @jblyon2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would gladly pay what he paid for his ticket plus a few bucks for an actual meal. Not including it at that price point is perfectly acceptable, but it would be nice to have the option, even for an extra charge.
      I have terrible anxiety issues being crammed into economy seats (and that's with medication lol), so I'm currently paying high prices for domestic first to have any hope of arriving at my destination intact mentally. Breeze has said they plan to make my local airport one of their operational bases, so I'm REALLY looking forward to being able to utilize their Nicest fares!

    Flew this route back I august. We experienced the delays…they told me through Facebook (the only way you can correspond with the company) that they ran out of A220 pilots due to callouts and had to shift crews around. The flight was delayed 4:30 hrs out of Tampa the morning of our flight which caused a delay for the entire day. Fortunately they let us know the night before.
    The aircrew was extremely apologetic and were amazing. My wife and my daughter sat in the nicest seat and they had a very comfortable flight, got a good laugh out of the in flight meal. We came prepared though. I sat in the nicer seat and got a water and kind bar.
    Overall I was pleased with the experience. They are a new company so I can sort of expect there to be hiccups. As a military member whose wife and my family are both in the east coast, this is a great cheap option for our family.
    Also they don’t have in flight entertainment, but they did tell us before we got on the plane that we should download movies books, music etc.

    I recently flew from Nashville to Hartford on Breeze. They have some of the most enthusiastic flight attendants I’ve met and I loved the conversations! I was lucky enough to see two on both flights! Hi A, if you see this!

    I am a Delta Platinum Medallion who most often goes RIC to SFO. I would definitely pay 343 for this. Cheaper to SFO than Delta main cabin, non stop vs 1 stop, a better seat than Delta first except for the lie flat flights that cost over 1k (and you'll only get the upgrade if you burn a RUC anymore) , and no food on most Delta routings to SFO anyway. The only hard part is I won't get my MQM then.

    • @sanspotter
      @sanspotter  ปีที่แล้ว

      Breeze airways has a reward program as well, so if all you’re doing is RIC to SFO, it may benefit you to switch. Especially if they start serving real food.

    • @TheRacerRich
      @TheRacerRich ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sanspotter It's a bad program though, basically just 4% back (assuming you buy the better seats, which, at this price of course you would). As a PM I get 9 skymiles per dollar, and because DL still has SOME good redemptions if you are time flexible that usually works out to 15-20% back for me. I'll probably choose Breeze for my 1 time per year I go with the family though, now that my daughter will no longer be a lap infant (3 people on 1 reservation = no medallion upgrade without going through some machinations that involve 1 RUC and 2 PNR). And I agree on the for a cost food - it's a budget carrier, so I would be fine if they say at this fare for what you are getting, ok another $25 and we give you a proper business class meal.

    AC has been flying widebodies of all kinds to SFO for a while now, though some flights are still on narrowbodies. My YYZ-SFO nonstop in business class on an AC A320 some years ago wasn't the most comfortable affair.

    Hey, United actually has tablet holders built into the tray table on domestic first class seats on all MAX aircraft, all Airbus aircraft and the 737-700's, (true) Polaris, (and all Premium Plus seats on widebodies).

    $350 for a 5 hr flight, without full flat seats, and no food, is NOT a good deal. Food is bare minimum!!

    According to MX website, it says that Breeze offers a premium snack for Nicest passengers of flights over 4 hours long. Did the F/A say anything about not serving a better snack? It's still a very good price. They are starting CAK-LAS service (4 & half hours) on Oct. 6th & I'm planning to take the flight in the near future in the Nicest section. Hopefully, the premium snack will be available. It will be nice when they get the entire 80 A220s fleet & have the Nicest seats for a lot more markets. When MX gets through their growing pains, I think it will be a great choice between the ULCC & legacy carriers. I booked a Nicer seat for December CMH-PBI nonstop. My ticket is $109 & includes seat assignment, 1 carryon & 1 free checked bag, more legroom, priority boarding, & snack. When checking fare on DL (whom I like to fly on), that same date & route (through ATL) was $215 (cheapest) for comfort plus & $30 for 1 checked bag. I've never flown a ULCC carrier but understand you pay for basically everything; so by the time you pay for advance seat assignment, checked bag, snack/drink, etc., it can't be much cheaper than a more legroom Nicer fare. This will be my first experience on Breeze & I hope it's a pleasant one.

    I flew Breeze on Christmas Eve from PVD to Norfolk and had a pretty bad experience. The flight was fine, but the airline lost my luggage, after their check-in agent put the wrong passenger tags on my suitcase. I get it, things happen, but just be warned that Breeze has little customer service. There is no phone number to actually speak to a human, all customer service is done via text or FB chat, and is very disorganized. It took a week to get my suitcase back, and that was after I went to the airport three times when I was told it would arrive. The fares are low, just know if you have a problem you'll see why it's so cheap.

    Window seat didn't look like it would accommodate a dog carrier. Is the aisle seat also very narrow underneath or is there more room?
