I realize how much work lies ahead of us as Asians. I enjoy seeing your vids! I would be delighted to hear back from one of my daily sources of motivation.
I found about you a week ago, and I've been reading through out these weeks. I have my eyes on getting all A's in my board exams and getting at most 90% grand average, I'm now following systems that someone who has achieved these goals would do. Thank you so much for your help, i hope to return with positive feedback.
Ah I appreciate it! I work so hard and all advice is my own without referencing anyone else because it's from my own experience from how I became valedictorian!
I just came across your vid a day ago and from watching some of your vids my grades increased by a bit and slowly are increasing I’m so thankful to have a helpful TH-camr for study help also these tips super useful too 😁
All of these tips were super helpful but seeing that a lot of my study techniques are effective is really reassuring. I got flashbacks of how I used to basically use the Feynman technique on myself when studying biology and how I used to correct my own work when I was studying for APHG last year. This year, I was too scared of doing things the wrong way that they simply didn't get done.
Great tips! I've practiced a lot of these since high school and I'm in uni now. It's great to see valuable information being shared to those who need it! My problem however, is that it's almost impossible to find past material such as quizzes, tests, and/or references when the third world education system is not systematic. The material often isn't regulated (taken from resources at random and composed into the syllabus) so I end up trying to create my own notes/references/quizzes/flashcards/practice problems which are very time consuming 😔 Skipping lectures is also not an option since attendance counts for my grade even if I personally don't find them to be very helpful. Such a shame the system is set up this way
Yup same here. Skipping lectures isn't an option for me, since we need a 75% attendance for all classes at the end of the sem, otherwise u gotta do the class again next sem :/ The PYQs are an issue too, since most of the time the answer keys aren't there haha
Can you do a video on learning new topics and not just reinforcing already existing knowledge. It feels like I am slow when learning new things in class and being able to make sense of it into my working knowledge, like being able to write an FRQ on that subject.
Next year I will be skipping a grade and your videos are so sosoooooooo helpful in giving me confidence that I can still be an A student when I skip a grade! Ur the best!!!
The thing is my year (11th grade) is the highest so far since my school is new, it succks!!! Hi Amy!! I love your videos, I have a math test tomorrow and I studied a bunch, but I’m still so nervous, do you have any tips on how to take tests without any mistakes??
Hello Amy! I have been following you since you started this AMAZING channel. I am about to start class 8. I study very consistently every day but I end up getting in between 75%-82%. In class 7's Midterms, my grades drastically degraded and I sort of got depressed about it and lost all motivation to study. I am trying my best again, and it is all thanks to your lovely content. Honestly, they have been a *LIFESAVER*. But still can you please tell me how to enhance my grades?

This video was actually so helpful I never would thought to talk to upperclassmen really a cheat for preparing for future tests and things to study for
HI AMYYY! This is perfect! i have a test coming up which covers all my previous syllabus, but i know i wont have time to review and study all of it, i'm not sure if i should solve as many practice questions as i can from selected important chapters or just do a couple of them from every chapter (note: i feel really underconfident if i dont solve a lott of q's from a chapter just so i dont miss any important ones), i love yours vids and i hope you'll see this and give me some advice. 😭
the only other way to study in this case for me is to go over the material, ie history again after the class to get to the points where u dont understand, its important to immedietly clear up your confussion as soon as possible with friends or teachers before u start procrastinating
I have my final test in medical school in September...so it's hard to stay motivated and stick to the routine...your videos and tips help a lot... Thank u!
Hey if you see this comment: I’m in eighth grade currently and course selection just finished for us…I REALLY wanted to take AP world history next year, but because of my anxiety and how much stress I was going through during this year, I got in the honors class; I got full on panic attacks and I was devastated… The two honors/AP classes I’m taking next year are AP computer Science Principles and Honors World history (I got into honors English as well but my teacher that recommend me for comp sci told me that I would have to cut one honors class). I’d like to know if you have any tips if you didn’t get the result you expected…or failures in general.
My school provides us with so many resources for active recall( online quizzes, sample questions etc.) which literally give you the answers to some exam questions so it was kind of weird when I first started hearing about flash cards etc.
Hey Amy! Big fan here Can you make a video on kpop theme (not just bts), the video you did in avatar theme? That is one of my favourite video A- team would love it.
PLEASE HELP ME !!😭😭😭Hello Amy(or ANYONE WILLING TO HELP) I start 12 grade tomorrow (last year of school cuz after this is college) the thing is that I have to give my JEE mains exam in january next year, them board exams and then JEE ADVANCED,to be able to get into my desired college I need to get atleast 75% in board exams so they are sort of inter dependent ? Anyways the syllabus for JEE and board exams is not the same, the exam pattern and questions are different so I have to take extra coaching for JEE because they don't teach that syllabus in school(curse the school system 😭😭) I need marks in both the exams,I cant skip school or coaching the problem I have had in 11th grade is basically that I go to school from around 7 am to 1-1:30 pm then coaching is from 3:30 pm to 9 pm(its online thankfully) after that is dinner and I sleep around 11 pm and wake at 5 am. My problem is- THERE IS NO TIME TO DO ANYTHING 😭 My main subjects are physics, chemistry and maths and they require a lot of practice bit when do I practice !? Without practice, you cannot do STEM subjects, forget JEE I can barely cope with school what do I do 😭😭😭
So, for the comparing answers part, I don't really have anyone to compare them with because currently in my class(I know this will sound kind of cocky), there's no one as good, especially not a friend, but I still would like to do it since I want to hold habits for later when I might need them.
My exams are starting I'm too lazy to get up and go to study I keep on saying "I will do good ," and "I don't have to study" and no I keep hatting myself for not studying while I'm still doing 'the same old thing
Hi how do deal with outside things and situations that constantly irritate you and make your life and studying harder? NOTE that these things are out of your control but still bothers you mentally make you go back to your old habits.
I love your tips, and I still have some questions (Hope you don't mind) Sometimes in class, Idk if I'm the only one but even when I pay attention and try to understand what's going on like what is the teacher talking about, I just can't seem to get the info into my head like my brain doesn't function properly :'D so like I often find it hard to understand what has been taught in class because I just feel like my brain isn't working. Also, I have to wake up at 6am every day for school but I arrive home at earliest 5:15pm every day from school and I have a lot of homework ;-; I barely have time to finish them and I don't think I have time to study or practice piano or do any sort of things that I like like you did before ;-; Do you have any solutions to this problem please? I would love to have 8 hours of sleep every day and wake up feeling refreshed and stuff but I don't think I have time to sleep QAQ And I'm always tired
Hello I don't really know for the 2nd question (except doing has much homework as you can during the weekend maybe?) but for the first one I highly recommend you to ask questions. If you know what you didn't really understand you can directly ask it, or ask your teacher to reexplain that thing. Else you can try to reexplain the thing yourself. "If I understood well, blablabla, does it mean that blabla ?" When you take note, try to make links with what you previously wrote (sometimes it's difficult because too much information) and ask yourself (then the teacher) questions, this will also help you to get this information into your brain. Here are a few personal experience I can share I you are stressed about asking (and why you should ask questions): - I once had a question and didn't think that was a good question enough, so I didn't ask. One of my friend, far from me in the class, asked the exact same question --> if you didn't understand something you're probably not alone. - sometimes people ask questions on subject I understood and I finally realise I didn't really understood the concept. so even questions that could look "stupid" (they are not) are useful. (Just a little reminder that the first question is the hardest to ask, after that it's easier) Hope it helps, and good luck :)
@@erialh967 thank you :) and yes you probably guessed it I'm an introvert and I'm scared of everything basically, scared of asking questions and even raising my hand up to order food at restaurants... I can't seem to do that :')
Same its like ab feeling of doing everything faster than other but still not achieving anything so why to do that 😅😅😂 really i thought i am the only one who think like that
thu Sooooo much Amy every single vid helps mee soo much eventhough i am literally in year 6 yeah am young but still the way u explain everything makes it feel personal as if this is to me only. Once again thu soo much. Oh 1 more thing enjoy seeing ur family!!!
I would like you to make tips on how to learn different languages because I am struggling. My high school makes us learn 4 languages and its difficult.😢Please
Thing is, when I'm done writing my answers in exams, I feel exhausted and unable to fully concentrate while revising and checking my answers. If I do check my answers once I'm done writing, I'll be wasting time and will be in a state of mind where I think that even the wrong answer is correct. Any suggestions for this? Btw, love your videos :)
well, set schedules. go to bed at a certain time and wake up at a certain time. regardless of weekends or not, set timers if needed. eventually, once you follow the schedule after a while, it’ll just become a habit for you to wake up early in the morning, if that’s what you said your schedule to be
I have a doubt I come back from school during the evening so I eat right after I come back and I always look at my phone while eating and I always try to push my self to study earlier but end up studying late at the same time what should I do pls help me out
the important message in the end is basically the First Law of Motion: your grades will stay at rest, unless you externally give a force of studying
Next Newton ❤❤😅😅

tomorrow's my last exam thanks alot amy!!
Good luck!
I love your tips Wamy. The thing that really annoys me is when I ask my instructor if they could please make Quizlet, they always say NO.
I love your tips, and I still have some questions (Hope you don't mind)
Sometimes in class, Idk if I'm the only one but even when I pay attention and try to understand what's going on like what is the teacher talking about, I just can't seem to get the info into my head like my brain doesn't function properly :'D so like I often find it hard to understand what has been taught in class because I just feel like my brain isn't working.
Hello
I don't really know for the 2nd question (except doing has much homework as you can during the weekend maybe?) but for the first one I highly recommend you to ask questions. If you know what you didn't really understand you can directly ask it, or ask your teacher to reexplain that thing. Else you can try to reexplain the thing yourself. "If I understood well, blablabla, does it mean that blabla ?"
When you take note, try to make links with what you previously wrote (sometimes it's difficult because too much information) and ask yourself (then the teacher) questions, this will also help you to get this information into your brain.
Here are a few personal experience I can share I you are stressed about asking (and why you should ask questions):
- I once had a question and didn't think that was a good question enough, so I didn't ask. One of my friend, far from me in the class, asked the exact same question --> if you didn't understand something you're probably not alone.
- sometimes people ask questions on subject I understood and I finally realise I didn't really understood the concept. so even questions that could look "stupid" (they are not) are useful.
(Just a little reminder that the first question is the hardest to ask, after that it's easier)
Hope it helps, and good luck :)
@@erialh967 thank you :) and yes you probably guessed it I'm an introvert and I'm scared of everything basically, scared of asking questions and even raising my hand up to order food at restaurants... I can't seem to do that :')

OMG i love your videos so much tnx for the advice
How to wake up early in the morning 🌄..?
well, set schedules. go to bed at a certain time and wake up at a certain time. regardless of weekends or not, set timers if needed. eventually, once you follow the schedule after a while, it’ll just become a habit for you to wake up early in the morning, if that’s what you said your schedule to be
