16:41 Yes, India did try solar roadway in the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway. In 2016, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) announced plans to install solar panels on the expressway. The plan was to install 250 MW of solar panels, which would generate enough electricity to power 100,000 homes.
The solar panels were to be installed on the median of the expressway, and they would have been made of transparent solar cells. These cells would have allowed sunlight to pass through them, so that vehicles could still drive on the road.
However, the plan to install solar roadway on the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway was ultimately abandoned. The main reason for this was that the cost of the project was too high. The MSRDC estimated that the project would cost around $1 billion, and they were unable to find the funding to support it.
In addition, there were also some technical challenges with the solar roadway concept. The transparent solar cells were not as efficient as traditional solar cells, and they were also more prone to damage.
Despite the challenges, the solar roadway concept is still being explored by some countries. In the United States, for example, the Solar Roadways project is working to develop a solar roadway that is more efficient and durable than the previous versions.
It is possible that solar roadway technology will eventually be used on the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway. However, for now, the plan to install solar roadway on the expressway has been abandoned.

Rooftop will solve the biggest issue of solar (land requirement). Also, we can't have normal land based solar plants in cities like Mumbai due to land cost. Roof-top solar will allow us to have solar electricity generation in cities like Mumbai and Delhi.
Indian Railways can be the biggest customer of rooftop solar installation companies. Indian railways has lot of buildings which can be covered with solar panels.

That reduces the cost of land acquisition and also allows for reducing the temperature of water as well as helping in maintaining the temperature of solar panels. So, it is not useless.
Using any other system wont directly help in controlling the temperature of solar panels
Jo Khali Padilla jagah hai waha pe temperature of panels badhega. Agar river pe Kiya, toh automatically temperature control Kar sakte hai. Additionally, evaporation of water kam hota hai. So, it makes sense to do floating solar on dam reservoirs.

Install solar near Plants and water it will cool it through evaporation....
take low quality heat from solar pannels , use refrigerent as working fluid , compress it to gain high quality heat, we can use it to run small turbine too to extract that energy and the residue heat can be dumpt by incorporating geothermal cooling mechanism.🌚🌛

We have one plant on Rajasthan and one in Maharashtra. The Rajastan roof top solar gave ROI is 3.5 years. Maharashtra we are estimating around 5 to 6 years.😊

@AnupamVipul Sir, with proper cooling system, the Rajasthan plant has been able to give at least 10 to 15 percent more output on average.
