At the end of the day, all of Nexus’s issues were just self imposed, he didn’t have to try to copy moon but he chose to, he could have chosen to communicate with Sun about his issues, but chose not to, there was plenty of times he could have asked for help, but again he chose not to and he could have taken their offers to help him but again he chose not to take the help. And now he is angry at them for things that were his choice. Also with Earth, how badly he chose to treat her when she was nothing but kind to him, he throw all of her issues and traumas that she confided into him back at her when all she wanted to do was to help him, no body told him to destroy is relationship with her, he again chose to.
The only real expectation that was put on Nexus by everyone, was to be part of the Celestial family. The only real expectation that Sun had put on Nexus was to be his brother. Everything else Nexus put on himself. Nexus never realized that he was in control of his life when he was New Moon. He became a tool the moment Dark Sun "rescued" him from space.
I'm very grateful to this old Foxy for not turning this interview into a merciless and indiscriminate mockery session like every previous villain has done, and for actually taking an interest in Nexus' thought process, without overly condemning him or undeservedly defending him.

Loved learning more about one of my fav characters, gona miss you New Moon/Nexus 💜 Wish they could of explored more and shown scenes of him mourning Solar and becoming Nexus questioning those moments, and even his close friendship with Solar as that seems to of been swept under the rug big time as Nexus is just rude to him now which makes no sense to me 💔. But love hearing him say he regrets what he said to Earth, that was very positive. This was still very good to watch, I just wish they went down the redemable route with the story, but nvm. Was still a very good arch and enjoyed it. Im intrigued on the next part of the story revealing Dark Suns big plan x

In response he gets mad and tries to ruin everyone else's lives. Solar was constantly compared to Eclipse by Lunar, yet he holds no grudges and tries to help heal the damage instead.

I dislike Solar ragging on Nexus for never telling anyone how he felt. But here's the problem, HE HAS. N!Moon legit told them at almost every opportunity and then he acted out when his needs weren't being met and left alone to grieve with no support. Nexus is definitely made his own choices, but he was extremely manipulated and put in those situations by Dark Sun in the first place and it's not like the family lifted a finger to be there for him when he as N!Moon did everything to be there for them.
