Poor Sun, Nexus was the second person he's killed now, with the first one being Bloodmoon. This affected him more than Bloodmoon cause Nexus was someone he actually cared about before, he started losing himself to insanity. I wouldn't be suprised if Sun is worried that Nexus will just show up randomly now just like how Bloodmoon did after he died.

Evil and Stupid are excellent cat names and I will be making a note of this. On a more serious note, as a counter point to all the people in the comments criticizing Moon for not immediately comforting Sun and going off on his own, I will offer the autistic human's perspective on emotions especially when it comes to offering comfort and support. Specifically, the version of autism spectrum disorder known as Asperger's Syndrome which I have. So the fun thing about this form of autism is that the emotional and social centers of the brain are underdeveloped. This means not only is experiencing emotion difficult, and often overwhelming to the point the brain shuts that entire section down out of self preservation, but those lovely little bits of social awareness that tell you when you are doing a behavior correctly neurotypicals seem to take for granted don't come installed in our brains! A lot of that figurative software for social interaction simply isn't there and has to be deduced and mimicked from watching other people. We tend to be really good with logic to the point that equating an Aspie with a Vulcan from Star Trek is more accurate than one might think. Now put that Vulcan with a human in emotional distress and watch the breakdown unfold. Aspies, generally, just don't know how to offer comfort effectively. The emotions on display are hard to grasp and the correct behavioral response takes time to load especially when we also happen to be experiencing strong emotion. The natural response of this particular Aspie i.e. me, in that situation, is to step back, let my emotions settle to the point I can actually think again, and then run through the internal catalogue of observed behaviors to try to deduce which one is the appropriate response. Then comes mimic time as I do my best to emulate the appropriate vocal tone, facial expression, and body language on top of getting the right words which is not easy to get right. It is anxiety inducing because in the back of the mind the entire time is this inner voice fretting, "I'm not getting this right. I'm making it worse. I don't want to hurt this person even more than they are already. I should stop and let someone more qualified step in. I can't handle this..." and so on. Sometimes that inner voice wins and so I just ask someone else to take over, retreat, find something else generically helpful that I *am* capable of doing. On the autism spectrum, sometimes the best thing that one can do to help is step back and do something else productive until the supportive option becomes available to our figurative CPU because trying to force it only makes things worse. Can't mimic the right response when the brain isn't returning what the correct response in this scenario even is and just keeps giving you either "Error 404: File not found' or outright blue screens you. That is exactly what it feels like, by the way. Autistic brains can, in fact, crash to the point that it may as well be the blue screen of death or throw the mental equivalent to a 'file not found' error. It is very, very frustrating to live with. I see a lot of the same behaviors in how Moon handles emotion meaning he could either be Aspie-coded or my personal bias as an Aspie is making those behaviors more noticeable to me than others. The Moon on the Minecraft channel that Reed also voices came right out and said he's autistic once, so it is entirely possible SAMS Moon is also meant to be autistic. In which case all the criticism that 'Moon should be helping Sun more', 'his brother needs him', and 'Moon is letting his bad habits win' are being quite unfair. Speaking as one who had to experience a heck of a lot of that unfairness on a systemic level while growing up, I feel a need to present the case that Moon, in this situation, is struggling too. He may not be grieving someone who was a brother to him, but he's certainly freaked out by the fact that Sun is and needed time to help himself before he could even contemplate helping Sun. Some might call that selfish. I call it being aware of personal limitations and doing what he has to in order to actually help. Also Moon just plain doesn't have confidence in his ability to handle emotion because his past experience with going homicidal and hurting Sun while they were still sharing a body taught his AI that he *doesn't* handle it well. We have seen this multiple times: Moon. Does. Not. Trust. Himself. *Especially* when it comes to emotion. We're effectively 3rd person omniscient here. We know things about the brothers that they don't know about each other. Did Sun need his brother? Yes. Was Moon capable of helping Sun from the initial moment he needed it? NO. Very much so NO. Fact is Sun and this Moon never got the family therapy. Sun and Nexus got some, but it wasn't enough. Nexus and Lunar got some, but it wasn't enough. Nexus even got solo therapy. OG Moon still *hasn't* and he freaking needs it. Sorry for the essay length comment, but some buttons got pushed and this helps reset them.

I feel like Solar is slightly jealous of Moon and Sun’s relationship. Because from what we know, Solar’s Sun really helped Solar in his time of need and now Solar probably feels like he has to pay back Sun even though this technically isn’t the Sun that helped him. People have to remember, things that happened in Solar’s dimension are going to affect how he treats people and acts around them. Solar is going to probably have more concern for Sun because of how he was treated by his Sun. On a more serious note, as a counter point to all the people in the comments criticizing Moon for not immediately comforting Sun and going off on his own, I will offer the autistic human's perspective on emotions especially when it comes to offering comfort and support. Specifically, the version of autism spectrum disorder known as Asperger's Syndrome which I have. So the fun thing about this form of autism is that the emotional and social centers of the brain are underdeveloped. This means not only is experiencing emotion difficult, and often overwhelming to the point the brain shuts that entire section down out of self preservation, but those lovely little bits of social awareness that tell you when you are doing a behavior correctly neurotypicals seem to take for granted don't come installed in our brains! A lot of that figurative software for social interaction simply isn't there and has to be deduced and mimicked from watching other people. We tend to be really good with logic to the point that equating an Aspie with a Vulcan from Star Trek is more accurate than one might think.
Now put that Vulcan with a human in emotional distress and watch the breakdown unfold. Aspies, generally, just don't know how to offer comfort effectively. The emotions on display are hard to grasp and the correct behavioral response takes time to load especially when we also happen to be experiencing strong emotion. The natural response of this particular Aspie i.e. me, in that situation, is to step back, let my emotions settle to the point I can actually think again, and then run through the internal catalogue of observed behaviors to try to deduce which one is the appropriate response. Then comes mimic time as I do my best to emulate the appropriate vocal tone, facial expression, and body language on top of getting the right words which is not easy to get right. It is anxiety inducing because in the back of the mind the entire time is this inner voice fretting, "I'm not getting this right. I'm making it worse. I don't want to hurt this person even more than they are already. I should stop and let someone more qualified step in. I can't handle this..." and so on. Sometimes that inner voice wins and so I just ask someone else to take over, retreat, find something else generically helpful that I *am* capable of doing. On the autism spectrum, sometimes the best thing that one can do to help is step back and do something else productive until the supportive option becomes available to our figurative CPU because trying to force it only makes things worse. Can't mimic the right response when the brain isn't returning what the correct response in this scenario even is and just keeps giving you either "Error 404: File not found' or outright blue screens you. That is exactly what it feels like, by the way. Autistic brains can, in fact, crash to the point that it may as well be the blue screen of death or throw the mental equivalent to a 'file not found' error. It is very, very frustrating to live with.
I see a lot of the same behaviors in how Moon handles emotion meaning he could either be Aspie-coded or my personal bias as an Aspie is making those behaviors more noticeable to me than others. The Moon on the Minecraft channel that Reed also voices came right out and said he's autistic once, so it is entirely possible SAMS Moon is also meant to be autistic. In which case all the criticism that 'Moon should be helping Sun more', 'his brother needs him', and 'Moon is letting his bad habits win' are being quite unfair. Speaking as one who had to experience a heck of a lot of that unfairness on a systemic level while growing up, I feel a need to present the case that Moon, in this situation, is struggling too. He may not be grieving someone who was a brother to him, but he's certainly freaked out by the fact that Sun is and needed time to help himself before he could even contemplate helping Sun. Some might call that selfish. I call it being aware of personal limitations and doing what he has to in order to actually help.
Also Moon just plain doesn't have confidence in his ability to handle emotion because his past experience with going homicidal and hurting Sun while they were still sharing a body taught his AI that he *doesn't* handle it well. We have seen this multiple times: Moon. Does. Not. Trust. Himself. *Especially* when it comes to emotion. We're effectively 3rd person omniscient here. We know things about the brothers that they don't know about each other. Did Sun need his brother? Yes. Was Moon capable of helping Sun from the initial moment he needed it? NO. Very much so NO. Fact is Sun and this Moon never got the family therapy. Sun and Nexus got some, but it wasn't enough. Nexus and Lunar got some, but it wasn't enough. Nexus even got solo therapy. OG Moon still *hasn't* and he freaking needs it. Sorry for the essay length comment, but some buttons got pushed and this helps reset them.

I feel like Solar is slightly jealous of Moon and Sun’s relationship. Because from what we know, Solar’s Sun really helped Solar in his time of need and now Solar probably feels like he has to pay back Sun even though this technically isn’t the Sun that helped him. People have to remember, things that happened in Solar’s dimension are going to affect how he treats people and acts around them. Solar is going to probably have more concern for Sun because of how he was treated by his Sun. And Solar is probably going to try to have a good connection with Moon in either fear of how his Moon treated him or that he wants this chance to connect with Moon because he couldn’t in his dimension with his Moon

Now, I'm glad Moon got his head out and is there for his grieving brother. But he's still in for that talk Earth wants to have with him, same with Lunar. I hope, after Sun has recovered a little bit, Sun, Earth and Solar hold some kind of burial for Nexus, to at least say a more peaceful goodbye to the brother they all still loved 😢
Actually, she doesn’t have to have that talk with moon. She was just angry that moon was not there for son. He’s there for son now so she doesn’t have to have that talk with him anymore. Lunar is the problem now he’s just become anaesthetic to everything.
