    MCND are slowing becoming an ult group for me. The confidence, swag, energy and boyish charm are unmatched. And Ice Age was my favourite boy group debut for 2020 as well. They are the 4th gen trend setters for sure.

    always happy to see your reaction of MCND, your face can not lie, even before starting the reaction that pure joyous expression was showed up. and as the music start, you can not hide that happiness anymore. I like MCND too, and all your comments about them is same as mine. they really have lots of personal style but they come up tgt as group, and that's what make MCND so charming. feels like western boy group which every member having their own dance style but still managed to feels like a perfect group tgt. also for me each member vocal tone really stood up, I always like groups which voices is distinguishable in the first listen of their song, and MCND is one of that group, the other is got7 for example. I think nowadays many group don't really have that distinguishable voice tone, more like a similar voice tone for each company preferences.

    i would say mcnd's kinda signature thing is castle j singing/rapping/talking the chorus. it's him in ice age, second part of the chorus in spring, in crush it's him and win, the exception is nanana where vocal line sings it. castle j's voice is just so unique and cool, and feels different in every single song which is literally mind-blowing to me. and he is probably the most FUN guy i've ever seen, like, his ad libs and little shouts, the way he hypes everything around him, gets me everytime

      @@missbradicah looking at the korean it still is just BIC like the pens, but I think he spelled it out in Top Gang to fit into the rap better/have more emphasis with his name
      MCND calls him BIC (when they aren't using his birth name) and on name tags it's just the one character (빅) so I think spelling it out was mostly a lyric thing, and I know PD knows how to read Korean so they might've just wanted to say it that way for fun lol

    • @MingkisWay
      @MingkisWay 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the whole time, while giving his explanation, my mind kept on screaming "UR DESCRIBING ATEEZ AS WELL!" MCND and ATEEZ are my ults for that VERY reason. the individuality, the different "colors" of each members blending together instead of unit driven.

    I completely agree with you about the individuality stuff, they all are so different and yet they work together so well. I think my favorite part of mcnd is that just just always look like they're enjoying themselves so much and the genuinely love their music. They remind me a lot of Stray Kids (not music style, just vibe) and that's probably why I love mcnd so much

  • @azyallusia5744
    @azyallusia5744 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    the thing about MCND is every single of them got unique color, style, charisma yet makes synergy together (sry, I'm having hard times phrasing it (TT)) that can pull off all of their title songs together (B track also great) so far. it's funny how 4/5 member were actually the worst pair based on MBTI test yet on stage they got unexceptionally incredible chemistry. I'm talkin about Huijun-Minjae on ice age and spring those duo dance-main vocal complement each other voice, Huijun-Bic footwork in Crush, Bic-Win rap.
    basically, like PD-nim said they're one team but doesn't seem like one. each got strong presence in the group.
    if YG do attempt to create factory "idol" concept / team-oriented by debuting treasure, TOP do the opposite

    The name of this album of MCND is MCND AGE, so, that let me feel that they're showing themselves, and that even ICE AGE and EARTH AGE are a part of them, in a way that is part of the group identity, and themselves also put their colours and names onto it. I think they're expressing themselves more, and that like they have the liberty to do that, and that's amazing, specially in an industry were normally you as a single don't count and only the group matters. They're showing us their world, and we are here to appreciate it.
