    I saw the Tubes in college in year 1977 and then 46 years later in year 2023. Incredible.

      My brother turned me on to them , early 80’s, and Tom Waits, wow! The Tubes were very underrated, I’ll have to look up the original band members, other than Fee Waybill. He’s a cool cat!

    I had the privilege of being a roady for these guys during the Seventies, They were great! Amazing musicianship and so very tight. It was the most incredible six months of my life. So very glad to see them still gigging. Go get em guys!

    Prairie Prince-one of the best in the pocket drummers & an incredible artist! Fee Waybill was most definitely overlooked for his wonderful vocal skills. What a band The Tubes are!

    It’s 20 years later. I sit in my house in small town England by the sea watching this with my jaw on the floor. What a fucking band. I mean if you’re going to make a racket, be totally in command and do it properly. In a world where making music music has become a computer game, be more Tubes.

    This is one of the best songs ever written,the whole Completion Backword Principle cd is in my top 5 albums ever.

    Saw two of their shows during their Inside/Outside tour in 1983 or 84. The second show in Corvallis Oregon show I got a backstage pass and had a beer with the band. Autographed my bottle and t-shirt. Nice guys. Although Rick had a broken bass string cut him above one of his eyes during the performance. He seemed in good spirits when I interacted with him.

      Yes a multi piece outfit not afraid to create quality tunage regardless of the expense and yes they did deliver. Rick Anderson. What a loss. This kind of thing is hard to accept. Vince. The girls. It's terrible

    The Tubes are criminally under rated, but Fee Waybill has a vocalist is even more under rated! His voice is SHARP and still is to this day. Has not lost a stop as a vocalist IMHO.

      He lifted us up to a jaw dropping level. ❤
      I just came to this vid randomly to learn the chords and didn't even think about him being on it.

    saw them at the coach house a few years ago, still sound great. They were way ahead of their time. I first saw them in Pasadena 30 years ago, One of the best concerts ever. Fee is awsome.

    I saw them every night for a week at the Hammersmith Odeon in London and I will never be the same. The most awesome show,musicians,costumes,themes and whatever. The Tubes are a legend.

    The greatest ever rock and roll band!. Great songs, musicians and fun! Saw them first in 1979 and most recently this year. Check out their current touring schedule on their web-site.Totally under-rated, probably because they were so far ahead of their time. Also, really nice guys who devote a lot of time to their fans after the shows when they're probably exhausted. Fee for president!

I see them every year when they come east. Go see them! You'll have a great time and a chance to meet them after the show! Great guys with their ego in check. Reasonable ticket prices, too boot!

    Lucky enough to work with them back in 79(?) Poole, UK. Seen them numerous times as well since then. One most entertaining bands in the world, this track probably one of the top three gave & this live track is just awesome. Thanks for sharing. Legendary I'd say.

    a duet with Richard and Fee Waybill.
    The instruments are played by Steve Lukather (who co wrote the song) Simon Phillips and Gregg Phillingaines (all 3 from TOTO)

    first saw the tubes with bebop deluxe. even though the line up has changed,there are still alot of core members that make thetubes a worthwhile show to catch!! Fee,Roger,Rick and Prairie Prince and medd and cambria still keep the memory alive. Roger still swings a mean ax with alittle Hendrix too.

    Saw them on this 2003 tour, free show in Indianapolis. It was great to see Prairie behind the drum kit. they sounded great and had a great setlist.
