Total war has made big steps in giving us the whole warhammer fantasy experience...but by watching these cinematics, i am wondering how huge would be a series of movies based on Warhammer fantasy. Lets say for example "warhammer chronicles" in a fashion like marvel did with its heroes, or star wars. Imagine 10 movies that would tell the stories of every site of map of warhammer fantasy,like total war games and dlcs do. Given that, well written scenarios and serious people producing...it would be awesome!
samis pan warhammer would have to be given a hard R rating. Pg13 wouldn’t do it any justice(the brutality of the world). And it’s reaaaallllly hard to sell an almost cartoony R rated fantasy to people who don’t know what warhammer is. But if they do and make it and sell it right it might be the cross of the epic story from lord of the rings but the length of the marvel series. You'd almost have to do like Lotr and film almost the entire movie, or at least several of them, at a time.

Warhammer is also different in that, for example, we have visual representations of what a ork is, as opposed to orcs in LOTR. It’d be super hard to model and scale all the creatures without them looking like the crappy Warcraft-movie orcs. It’d be awesome if they would make a good warhammer movie though

You gather followers, retinue, you collect evidence, interact with people, common and "noble", then battle some daemon guy. Throw in the same 3 classes, maybe something like : militant inquisitor = warrior, investigator = rogue, psyker inquisitor = mage
I think this was probably the most fun from the evil factions. Dark elves were also fun. But this canon+rifle based Pirrates of Carribean faction was super cool.

I would presume for the same reason farmers plant crops. Undead can't repopulate, so you need living people to replenish and increase your manpower. Depending on your view it's a pretty good deal for the living as well. If you die, you get resurrected. Granted the normal zombies aren't exactly intelligent, but you know maybe you can become one of the smarter ones. The Vampire coast do go around killing people and raising drowned people, but it's dangerous to rely solely on those avenues. Not every hunt is successful after all and you can't always sack a city or town either.
The Vampire Counts have countless living humans as subjects and since the only taxes they have to pay is their blood for now and then, they are even pretty desirable overlords.
lorewise having actual living beings for servitude/knowledge/skills is far better than your society being comprised of mindless zombies. Who is going to pay taxes?
I'd think they'd have to be in order to crew a ship, they'd need finer motor control to handle the rigging and such. So they must have some semblance of a soul, like the skeletal units of the Tomb Kings.
Basically originally Luthor Harkon was the only Necromancer that could raise Zombies that retain their general intelligence and personality, which was attributed to a change in his magic after his mind was shattered, however since they decided to make Vampire Coast a playable race with multiple factions seemingly any Vampire pirate can raise intelligent zombies.

For all that I disagree with about the idea of Undead and ships fighting together, I have to say this perfectly orchestrated release does put a smile on my face.

They already killed warhammer fantasy, well games workshop did, there is no new content only what total war makes for it.

Been reading lore since late 90's early 2000's... Vampire Coast and Karak Zorn were always an obsession. This game and focus are a dream come true!

For all that I disagree with about the idea of Undead and ships fighting together, I have to say this perfectly orchestrated release does put a smile on my face.
I would definetly like to see you doing another take on the warhammer world in the future, mybe in 10-20 year you will visit it again and hopefully your AI will have improoved by then.

It truely feels like a world alive more and more, good job guys! however I really think you ask too much.. I don't know the price of this, probably 25 or 15, maybe in the future release a pack, for all content at the price of 100?
