I have APC SRV1KV (880 watts) ups sometimes when I press my computer power button I hear " squeal" sound like " Chuuuuuuuu" coming from the lower left corner of UPS near the power plug of the UPS . When I hear this sound the UPS goes into either Fault mode or sometimes just blinks red led and there is relay switching noise but most times it just works normally . I feel my power supply (1000Watts) is tripping the ups with high inrush current am I correct to assume so or is my UPS faulty it was purchased in march of 2021.

Sound comes from Buzzer Please check load. If load only computer 1sr check computer power drawn on start computer.
2nd check sound comes from ups means load may be due to less mosfet on

Thank you so much for responding, I will try to check the ampere pulled from my PC, I recently changed my powersupply from 850 watts to 1000 watts my ups never caused any problems with my old supply but with this new one I suspect the initial load to charge capacitor is high with inrush current. Would you advice getting a higher KVA UPS like 2k or 3k would that solve the problem of high inrush current drawn at start.@@techsolutionsdey

Sir pahale to aap ups ke bare me puri jankari le lijiye aap jo green color ka capacitor bta rhe hai vo capacitor nhi hai ye vdr register hota hai aapne folt ka koi solution btaya nhi

Controller Card or Cable issue.1st you check DC charging current If it proper may be 72VDC to 96VDC for 6 no battor 108V for 8nos batt.then go for controller.

Sar mere pass 3 KVA online UPS hai usmein 230w input supply dene per chalu rahata hai aur display per battery wala indicator blink kar raha hai aur 230w input supply band karne per battery mod per UPS band ho jata hai to kya problem ho sakta hai

Battery voltage check kigiye.8 batt 102v dc or more show karega.
Batt voltage ok hone Par DC fuse check kigiye or charger card me fuse check kar ke bataye.

Hi Sir, thank you for this video. Do you have schematic for this ups ? Mine is quiet similar and had a weird issue ! As soon I tried to activate outpout, a big flash happens (pink like plasma) beetween 4 fast switching diode mounted on heatsink, but nothing burnt on the board, basic check of component doesn’t reveal something for now. You check returning voltage or current on heaksink. May be phase reverse.please check Inputs
