Damiano wrote this song when they were in L.A. for 3 months, his girlfriend was too sick in Italy to travel and he was feeling very lonely. He started to think of what it would be like if he died and never got to see his family again.
I would suggest some of their awesome Italian masterpieces. Torna a Casa, Le Parole Lontane, La Paura del buio, Zitti e Buoni. You can find translation videos of all of them, but their music videos especially for Torna a Casa are works of art. Damiano is a true poet in Italian and his lyrics are really deep. If you listen to some I mentioned just know Marlena is not a woman, but their Muse so their songs about her are not truly love longs in the traditional sense.
They did great ballads. The italian ones are the best with meaningful lyrics and accurate video clips. Yes the four guys on the tomb are Maneskin. Great Thomas's guitar solo, as usual. Nice reaction.

This is the best English power ballad they have done. Their Italian ballads are another level! But, some great Rock awaits you! The previous album is great but mostly in Italian. Try For Your Love, In Nome Del Padre. The new just released album has some great stuff, and a little more experimentation. A couple misses, but at least a dozen bangers out of 17. Try Gasoline, Baby Said, Feel, TIMEZONE, and BLA BLA to get an idea

I don't think you need anything special to see their 2021 Eurovision performance of Zitti e Buoni in Ireland 🙂, but this would be a great performance for you to check out.

Damiano ( il cantante ) muore all'improvviso senza avere il tempo di dire addio a chi vuole bene quindi torna sulla terra ( l'uomo che cade dal cielo ) si reincarna e si ritrova al suo funerale , ma all'inizio non lo sa , poi mentre inizia a piovere lui ricorda la sua morte e ciò che è venuto a fare , cioè dire addio a tutti , quindi tira fuori le parole non dette ( il foglio che esce dalla bocca ) ...
