- Today I am using masking fluid to reserve the light in this painting, and some dark colors to depict the nighttime features of the landscape and the birds.

I am loving your new variety of topics for the lessons! 😀
Love this, would enjoy seeing more of these 😁❤
So glad!
😍⬛⚪🌝⚪⬛😍
Im loving this series on light out of darkness….so moody and dramatic and so quick! Thank you Diane.
This is so good! Great subject matter and I never would have thought of reflections in puddles. This series is great, even though I'm struggling with time to do it, I'm enjoying all the great ideas and the process of making great paintings with it! Thanks Diane!
Glad you enjoyed it! No need to do it all at once, the videos will be forever available!
❤ love your ideas. I don't know how you manage to come up with a new project every day. FYI, that looks like a nice large puddle to me 😂
Thank you! 😊
Birds in puddles, in the moonlight..lovely and fitting this time of year. Our yard is filled with birds looking for seeds and now we have puddles from melted snow. I even have trees off in the background....this painting feeks like home. Thank you.
Thanks so much Connie!
You make the birds come to life so effortlessly - I struggle with birds and have painted very few that I like. I love the limited palette and how sketchy it all looks. Thanks for the prompts this month!
Thanks so much 😊
This is great!!!
Diane, you with your unique compositions, your graceful brush strokes, your brilliant paintings and teachings....you never cease to amaze me.
Another wonderful tutorial. Thank you!
I’m loving these light in The darkness paintings.
Thanks Bev, so glad!
That was a fun one. The birds were a surprise, but they worked. 😊
LOL!
That was very good 👍. I liked it. Thank you 😊 🙏. God bless 🙏. Have a great night 🌙. JK FLORIDA USA 🇺🇸.
Hi Diane, I just love your tutorials. They are so relaxing and look so effortless...until I try it myself. I thank you so much. Please keep on going like this! Sandra from Germany
Terrific. Look forward to a try. U make it look easy
My 262th.thanks for sharing a light out of darkness for not members. I am always surprised by your ability to transform a white paper into something beautiful. You are very divers within your subjects and are not afraid of experimenting and although you prepare before painting on video you can follow your approach to see what comes and finally see what is needed. Thanks. 😊wim
Absolutely brilliant! I'm really connecting with painting, love it 🥰 thank Diane 😁
I love it when you do scenes, this one is captivating and a ‘must do’. By the way people Diane’s back catalogue is jolly well worth viewing, there are some beauties there -just saying. And I had to let you know I had some rather nice results using a tooth pick for the reflective light on the water. Hence no real collateral damage, just a half dead tooth pick! Thank you Diane.
Definitely puddles across a flood plain.😊 So fast and fun.
Diane, this is really beautiful!! I can’t wait to try this. I’m always terrible at birds but I’ll practice on a separate sheet of paper first! I love how this turned out. Thanks so much!
this is stunning, it looks so good ☺☺☺
Turned out beautifully. I love painting light
That's very reflectively beautiful ~ 🖤🤍🧡💛
I love what I call mood pictures and this is one of those! Love this one!
My favourite so far. Thank you!
Thank you too!
Beautiful! I love this. ❤
Thank you! 😊
i used a bit of liquid dish soap on a brush before using masking fluid. cleaned up pretty well. 🌸
Yes, that’s a good idea 👍
@@DianeAntoneStudio thank you! 🌸

Love it….your painting always spring into life…I love watching you, lots of tips, techniques, very relaxin Diane…thank you ❤
Beautiful Diane! ❤
I love your art❤
I love this one!
Like this a lot ! X
Absolutely beautiful!
Thanks so much ❤️
I use a wooden chop stick to apply masking and it works great, then you can just rub it off the tip of the stick when it dries.

❤❤❤❤love this one! Thank you.
You’re so welcome ❤️
I read and have tried putting my paintbrush into washing liquid first then using the masking fluid. My brush washed up back to normal 😊
Thanks for sharing!
Very nice❤
Nice.
🐨👍
What a beautiful, atmospheric painting!
I have your channel. On ALOT ❣️ Sometimes watching best I can while cooking, settling down for the evening, while hubby watches TV, saving the ones I must check back in with. AI will learn that many are come and goers, short termers that offer YT NOTHING and many are stayers. It's hopefully not gonna take long. Don't worry, live for today ❤ We'll be THERE. I'm sooo grateful to you and others like Ellen, my 2 faves. 🤗
Thanks so much, it means a lot to me and Tamsin to have loyal supporters like yourself coming back again and again. We are here for the long haul whatever form that might take (obviously age and health taken into consideration) and I’m hoping that eventually my daughter will take over the painting side of things when I can’t do it any more… but that’s not going to be any time soon god willing ! I watch Ellen CT’s channel too, in fact she was one of the few that inspired me to start my own channel four years ago! I used some of her tutorials to see whether I could do the same, and I felt that I could, and the rest is history! Thanks again for your support! Sending hugs xxx Diane xxx
Lovely one to try tganks you Diane ❤😊
