I've always wanted to keep a nature journal. We love to learn about the wild plants and animals we share space with. I hope to make the space and time to draw more. Thank you for sharing!
@UnearthingtheGift yes, please try it! Without expectations, just a little 10 min sketch, and then another one a few days later. Or challenge yourself to do one sketch a day for 7 days, to see if you like it. Good luck. 😊🌻
I was just watching Ess and saw a comment you left her and it lead me here. I’m a follow creator too and I love what I see here. Your nature journal is gorgeous. I love how it’s two fold, out in nature and drawing combined. How healing, mindful and beautiful. I draw similar, I imagine I’m following an ant and watch it walk along whatever I’m drawing and make my pencil do the same. I’m adding you to my new TH-camrs play list so others might find your channel there too. I’ve subscribed today.
@@Lifeinthewyldewest oh thank you so much for your kind words and for adding me to the playlist! I love the ant idea while drawing. That's a great way to remember it. 😊❤️
@@thewildcherryfarm I love that you like it. I’ve been second guessing myself a lot lately and especially with the big wave of women my age who don’t do edits and just sit to chat. I need to be confident in me and just keep going. Glad to have found you.
This is lovely. I was wondering if you lived in Ireland from the gloomy skies at the beginning of the video 😅 I live in Ireland too and also nature journal 😊
I love this video! I just did a search on my computer for a digital nature journal I made a couple of years ago. I never used it but you've inspired me to get it out and go explore. Sadly I cannot draw so I may have to rely on digital pictures to make it look nice. I struggle drawing a house with a triangle, rectangles and squares, seriously. I did a search for the common name of the yellow flower (ragwort) in your video, it's beautiful.
@Esscapades your digital nature journal sounds interesting too. Whatever works best for us is good. 😊 Yes, ragwort! It's so beautiful, and also poisonous, but then again a great food source for many insects.

I like the way that you look at the journal as inspiration for nature 👍🏼
@@skullingtonfly thank you. 🌻
You are very encouraging for nature journaling. I’m a beginner and hope to continue daily.
@donnamurphey6886 wishing you all the best. And let me know if you have any questions. 🌻

I started a nature journal a couple of weeks ago. It’s so much fun!
@@PTBeverly that's great! 😄 yes, it is, isn't it? It changes how you see everything around you. ❤️
Definitely gonna try this! Thanks for the idea
@@Flowerbelle-qk9qp yes, do! 😀 let me know how it goes if you want. 🌻

Unrelated to the content of the video - but your voice & accent (to my american ears) is beautiful!

@ArtDreamPainting I love your rock painting videos! I've got one coming up next week too. ✨️
This is such a wonderful ideal. I will try it but I won't promise the end result as I do not know how to draw at all. 😊
@gatina7713 it doesn't matter. Just get started. 😊 in the beginning it's just playing and experimenting. You'll get better over time.
