My girlfriend is having these. She even has anxiety attacks. I feel so helpless when i see her like this. I try to check on her meditations and medicine daily but sometimes she skips them and after some times it get worse. It pains me and makes me think that i can't do anything for the person i love. She avoids me thinking I'm just wasting myself on her and I'm not able to make her understand that we are in this together , no matter what. Fighting it psychologically is an another fight. May god give her all the love she deserves. 🥺

I've had epilepsy for 27 yrs. I started with what was known as. GRAND MAL now known as Tonic-Clonic seizures, then sim partial seizures, Atonic seizures which had caused me to break my leg in several places requiring surgery, before this incident I was free of tonic clonic seizures for 10yrs... I have had more TC seizures this past 8 months alone that I had the full. 26 years prior. Been on 5 different AED'S varying doses and still suffering... ❤ to all the Epilepsy warriors in the comments.

What I have learned As a Epilepsy Patient
    • It’s hard to bear, but we cannot lose hope to get healthy one day. • We can reduce ratio of attacks, if we follow doctor’s advices in our daily routine. • We have to spread awareness about epilepsy, and show the world that nothing is impossible in life. • There are many people who are suffering from epilepsy, but they are living their lives very happily. • It’s a continuous struggle to keep Yourself focus on your goals rather then worry about your disease.

As a former epilepsy patient it’s hard even after 13 years living with it. can’t live a normal life without having to take medication everyday for the rest of my life I break down in tears cause having to live with this till the day I die is when it will stop. It’s just so hard to accept it even after being diagnosed with it after 13 years

    • @kevinsantos7276

@@tast3myrainb0ws50 I'm also a former epilepsy patient. It was genetic because some of my relatives have that kind of disorder. However through time it will go away. I have medicate since 2nd year highschool until 2017 since the medication was unavailable. In my experience, a healthy mind must be a most priority. To achieve control over epilepsy is to control your own destiny. I have to remove all negative emotions. The greater your anxiety, the more it triggers. However, it depends on a person's psychological strength. You should control your mind by strengthening your spiritual senses. For me, when it triggers, it had an aura. It's like a merge of negative emotions all at once. I had an attack twice a year. So I had to meditate and try to feel again than emotion again. I practice what it's like that emotion or aura. Until when I was sleeping I had to control, I did stop that emotion from entering from me. Thus, I had the power to overcome it. The answer was to remove the negative emotion and imagine a field that you like most. For me I had to enter a sort a grass field where the wind blows breezely. Eliminate your negative emotion and find your peace. It was God who help overcome it..

Seizures can affect us any moment.. suddenly with out any warning...even though we are not epileptic patient.. from my experience... I have experienced earlier some times it triggers Because of various factors like sleepless, pressure shot up , and stress , some light beams etc ... My was an unexpected ... While driving the car 🚗 to school I felt severe & heavy headache then I used a baam for my headache then reached my class and sat on Teachers chair in Between I lyied down also because excess headache .. that was a Christmas 🎄 celebration time class is full of noise they are crazy about their Christmas competition... But I want to take class . as the noise is terrible I shout at them with short temper & also I brust out with anger .. as soon as my Blood pressure becomes highest peak then my body Becomes very weak then my hands shakes a little & I Bend & fell to corner of the class then slowly drop down with Both eye's upwards & becames half blank out...repeat Nagyastisum continuously...🙄 😵 💫 💥🧠⚡ then starts seize my whole body my head shakes as yes no like that .. my hair becomes scattered then I dropped down to the floor ... my saree moved from my chest that makes my breast & Deep Round Navel pit exposed as
yu seize Me also seize then huge number of bubbles came out my mouth... With nausea sound ekk ekk .. as usual as vomitting ...They said Teacher 👩‍🏫 is Vomitting Bubbles & she is shaking slowly.... Also I sweating well while shaking this makes wet on Blouse & makes visibles With exposing my Breast & navel ... But I don't feel shame it's because of this fits I shake ... While that some children from class tapped my sweated face and Belly that moment I turned my face to side ... no response but I can hear everything.. but I can't responds or react ... To it then teacher from next class came and done the same but the extreme noise makes shakes violent... Then she Let all children out of the class to main hall then she said we are doing 1 st aid to yur Teacher 👩‍🏫 so please keep Quite & go from this surroundings ... She Let them out because my hus smooths me by Floating his hands from head to Feets 👣 that moment some colleagues gave An 🗝️ tightly to my ✋ ...that proves the 🗝️ using remedies Is a False things .... As the Jerkings last for 3 seconds my hus came near me and Takes my head and removes the scattered hair & placed on his Lap that moment form and froth Bubbles falls on his Lap . Then he rubbed my Face , ✋ ,chest , Navel pit Till to my 👣 and makes me Lye on the 🛏️ Bench ... After 15 seconds I regins my Full consiousnes.... That moment hubby gaves me water Bit by bit .. & says why are you always Bursting out in short temper .. it's makes yu this so control yur anger ... Avoid pressure shot up.
.so careful... Same things repeated once a while between while taking class 🙄😵🙂🙂🙂 but I didn't fear that situations .... 2:08

I’ve been suffering from uncontrolled epilepsy since birth; I’ve been on countless meds, been extremely discriminated in my life by being kicked out of school for being a liability, and been beaten up by bullies for being different. It makes me happy to see that there’s people that do care about us, and don’t just see us as freaks or think we’re possessed like the church does.

It should have been treated when you was a child. Usually it happens due to high temperatur in children (until 5 years old) and when untreated it follows you through life. My nephew had it too, but he went through a treatment and got rid of it. This was also due to high temperature.

I had surgery done to reduce my absence and complex partial seizures. My surgeon removed 75% of my right temporal lobe and all of my right hippocampus
because it shrunk and got hard from over 30 yrs. of seizures. Then I started using cbd twice a day and taking 2 Tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with
mother in it and my seizures went from 300 a yr. down to 68 a yr. The vinegar is what really helped me more than the surgery and now my Drs. are trying
to figure out how vinegar with mother in it can reduce seizures. Wishing All of You Only the Best

She was scheduled to go for monitoring on an epilepsy unit in the hospital because her EEG and 72-hour EEG came back abnormal/inconclusive. For me its been a long war with this disease. Its hereditary so all of my siblings and i have it ...im 36 now and still get them here and there but for me Stress triggers my seizures...and lights... i stopped having them the moment i started living a quieter calmer life away from anyone that really causes me emotional distress..take it day by day but it helped me alot. Mined would happen and i wouldnt black out but ide loose my senses of taste and everything would flip side ways visualy and ide grab on to anything QUICK..Then i loose my ability to speak..its all jumbled crapp that comes out..i try so hard to say seizure seizure and i cant its inaudible...takes me a minute to speak again.

I am suffering from epilepsy seizures for nearly 15 years (age 23)
    - What happens before during and after the seizures......
Before the onset of seizure I somehow know that i am going to have one but in most cases i get know in the last 5-15 seconds so i have a low time frame to respond so i have to be careful when i am riding a bike driving a car swimming or other activities alone
During the seizure I usually fall down instantly most of the times i hit my head and there is always a very serious injury on my tongue due to biting while having seizure
i wake up with a pain in my head and bloody tongue and unable to eat salty/spicy for few days (thank god the tongue is the strongest muscle ) first sentence after getting consciousness is always HOW did i get here ?
I usually regain consciousness between 1hour-2hour
I have MEMORY loss of the events that occurred 6-12 hours before the onset of seizure and i only have small flashes of the events
Let me briefly elaborate the feeling of a seizure
First thing is i start to forget where i am or what i am doing i dont feel my hands and legs my minds slowly goes blank and i dont know if i am waking up again

The thing did something weird to me, my head ached and I couldn't move then I threw up an passed out.
My parents never let me watch tv or be around bright screens n stuff like that for very long anymore.

I’ve been diagnosed with Epilepsy 2 years ago and I haven’t had any seizures since. I’m still on the edge as I’m not sure if this was a sort of episode of my life that is behind me or at any moment it can happen again. Dr tried to prescribe me Keppra but that first night I took it it gave me a high fever and chills and then dr prescribed me Oxcarbenzipine and it’s as if I never had any seizures. Please advocate for yourselves and stay strong. Also don’t get mad at the person who has had seizures if they crack a joke, coping mech, some of us are not technically there to witness😂😂

I had a complex partial seizure that ruined my 6 month streak earlier today and I'm still a bit shook. It's 1am right now and I still can't sleep. To everyone going through this, you're not alone. Find a good doctor who'll listen to you and help you find the right meds and it'll get better. To everyone with a loved one or friend with epilepsy, I know how hard it is to have to watch someone you care about having a seizure knowing that there's nothing you can do but just watch and make sure they don't hurt themselves. My friend once told me that watching me have those is excruciatingly painful because she feels helpless. Honestly, as terrifying as seizures are, waking up to see someone you love watching over you makes you feel so much better.

It usually happens when I am tiered during the day from work. And slowly drifting into a nap. And when I’m drunk or day drinking and I get sleepy. I am aware of everything happening in my body. I can’t snap out of it as much as I try. My lips jerk. I begin to drool , I feel like I’m going to have a heart attack and I panic in my consciousness l. And my breathing begins to slow down. It’s happened like 5 plus times..

I’m not sure if I have seizures or not, once every few days I tend to get this thing where my eyes flick back and forth a few times really quickly and I become a bit disoriented, and loads of times a day my vision flashes black for a second, and sometimes (especially when I am tired) my eyes sort of roll back and I feel dizzy as if i will pass out :/

Now I don’t have epilepsy (at least I don’t think I do) but I have had this thing for a couple years where sometimes when I am walking I lose consciousness for half a second where everything just disappears in my brain and I can’t control anything, but since it’s only for that short of a time I am able to catch myself right before I fall, I think it might just be a sensory overload, for example if I am in nature or taking a walk in the park.

i do have brief seizers randomly and it reduce my studying efficiency. when im focusing on something if i suddenly think of other thing , i have the seizer , its like having a lag in a game. But imagine having that in ur daily life. its so tiring and exhausting to know that ur own brain limits ur ability to even live properly. all that and i'm experiencing this small seizers. i really cant imagine how people with bigger seizers deal with it. God bless whoever have epilepsy and all the people who suffer from this very painful hell everyday. And lets hope our doctors all around the world find the decisive cure asap. for the generations to come.

Been searching through the net for answers, I was sitting in my chair just enjoying my time watching TikTok when my brain felt like it was going sleep and light mode. I felt like I was disassociating really badly, similar to drunk and or dreaming but much more aware. My whole torso started to lean and eventually fall, my limbs worked and I used all the energy I could muster to stand up but my torso felt like deadweight and caused me to fall back into my seat. I felt some sudden jerk and I started getting a mild headache, similar to after I disassociated for a short period of time. Torso still felt heavy but not as heavy as it was before, I was so confused. I walked it off thankfully, if it were worse I probably would have injured myself because I was alone in my room when it happened.
