My father was the absolute man though and helped build a soundproof room and recording studio with me…helped me learn how to use everything, spent endless nights mixing and mastering with me. I got into MIW a lot later than I am happy with. I love their work. This song is very different from what you are used to hearing from them and I love that. They are getting older. They are changing, as we all do. This is, hands down, my favorite video. So well done. Especially during the break when mom and dad enter the dining room to see the fliers all over the walls. The dad smiled. While the walls said "Fuck You!", the smiley face on the back of the crumpled flier on the table said "I love you!". Having been that kid and now am that dad, I can say that was perfect. People hate. People want to say that is 90's shit. Truth is, that's timeless ya'll. How it should be.
I got into MIW a lot later than I am happy with. I love their work. This song is very different from what you are used to hearing from them and I love that. They are getting older. They are changing, as we all do. This is, hands down, my favorite video. So well done. Especially during the break when mom and dad enter the dining room to see the fliers all over the walls. The dad smiled. While the walls said "Fuck You!", the smiley face on the back of the crumpled flier on the table said "I love you!". Having been that kid and now am that dad, I can say that was perfect. People hate. People want to say that is 90's shit. Truth is, that's timeless ya'll. Mad props MIW and the producer that thought up this video. Standing ovation. Please keep doing what you are doing. Much love.
