I just realized that generalist probably really likes spears/javelins as melee options since they have the range to maybe contribute. Still probably not necessary since SMGs op
I’ve played Spear/Javelin Generalist. It is indeed powerful, but SMG OP.
The hiking stick seems like the ideal weapon to me.. I'm new to the game but i reckon a bit of harvesting plus the bonus range would be awesome. Im gonna go try it now!

just had a generalist run where i picked up big arms and my smg damage went from 10 to 40
i did not process just how fast i went from middling to immediate win

Expensive for what it is, at that point the SMG is already handily dealing with all the enemies so spending 300 material on a minimum just isn’t necessary.
purple minigun tends to underperform compared to SMG. red minigun tends to be better, but it takes a while to upgrade it and it's a lot of money to spend.
