Honestly all these big fishing channels with 1 mil + subscribers have a 15 minute video and fish for 2 minutes of it, your videos are so entertaining to watch and you get straight to the point!!!!! Love this channel!

love watching your videos .. Been watching for a month or so and Im amazed at the size of the Lake Trout and Burbot you manage to pull outta them lakes.. Never caught A Burbot before this year.. watched your Vids got inspired for Burbot..Picked a spot based on your advice N picked a lure n tipped it n jigged it off of your advice n tips. Pounded bottom had glow baits ..had no knowledge going into to this other then what iv learnt from your vids .. ended up Nailing the spot N had the best night fishing of my life .. 4 over 10lbs biggest was just over 12lbs.. was awesome ended up catching 10 that night. went out the next night ended up even better got 12... 12lb is still my biggest .. followed your advice on lakers and been having great luck as well .. lol I love fishing now N its because of your advice.. We live in such an amazing time where with just a few clicks on a keyboard n a bit of time n we can learn from you what must have taking you years ... Keep making these vids i still have a lot to learn lol

@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors yeah I talked to Jay earlier in the season about some easy access lakers on Lake of The Woods off the ice roads but other then that you need a machine to get the quality biggens!
Ya, that's the hard part, maybe at late ice you might have a window.
A bunch of different camera angles, acqua view with dope underwater shots and big fish. A lot of work, gear, set up and time went into This video. I Just subbed

Stellar video and content as always. Laker fishing without all the camera gear can be a lot of work, can only imagine what your set up is like. Sure hope I'm able to make it to Clearwater, Athapap or Kississing early April, all these laker vids making me jealous. Need to hear that drag scream again!

You sure love those longer more expensive rods.... I have been using cheaper rods, Dock Demon, Dock Demon (Dulux) and Dock Runner, all the are like 17 bucks and I think deserve a look at, could be the subject of a video or 3...
It's all about finding something that works for you. For me the Tuned Up Rods have been solid and have put some great fish on the ice for me. It's all about confidence right? Just like you have confidence in the rods you are using, I have a PILE of confidence in these rods :)

I don't understand how you don't have 10k subs yet Clayton. The content you have been putting out this winter is almost on the same level and the kind of videos Aaron puts out, but on a more regular basis. You definitely deserve a bigger following. Maybe because your videos aren't clickbait, immature content like some *cough cough* the googans *cough cough* so your videos attract an older more mature viewer base. Anyway, love the content man, keep up the awesome work!

I know you use the Otter shelters for ice fishing but just wondering what you'd think would be a good first shelter for a beginner starting to ice fish? Going to aiming to target walleye mostly, I live in southern Ontario. Any tips I would be super grateful.

I do not know the make of those tubes. I got them at Pokeys in Regina SK. Tight Line UV makes some very nice tubes!

Clayton-where did you find the chartreuse green lake trout tubes? I have Berkley havoc tubes in white and white w/silver flecks. Tubes you used on your big lake trout PB day. Goin to Fort Peck Montana next week (since US-Canada border remains closed) lake trout trip
