I want to say thank you for all these moves and combos, at the moment I can't afford to attend class on a consistent basis, but these have really helped me along with your musicality studies. I've been told by ladies that am good at bachata actually😅. Am definitely saving up for proper classes, but I can't stress how much help these have been. Thank you
We are really happy that it helped you. That's why we are sharing what we know, to help dancers that want to learn and don't have many options to do so. Big hug from me amd Elena. P.s. the ladies are right, if you learn with us you are a good dancer 😁😅
Hi Guys! These videos are a great supplement to the lessons i've been taking. They let me play around with stuff i learn here mixed with stuff from class. Thanks!
Thank you for your continuous generosity for all of us around the world. You radiate immense healing and inspiration and I just can’t thank you enough. Blessings upon blessings to you both and all your loved ones. Happy Easter ❤❤❤
Sooo gorgeous 👍👍👍 thank you soo guys for your very good explainations. It's easy for me to learn it and i have a lot of fun to dance on the dancefloor with my dancepartners🙏🙌♥️ i love you😉
Thank you so so much GUYS! Please do more video like that. I don't like sensual moves, I prefer urban style and most of your patterns are sensual or very difficult to my level.
Hello ! In combo1, at 1:35, when u pull her toward you, she has to do a 180 turn. How do you make sure she is only doing a 180 turn and doesn't try to do a full 360 turn ? left hand ? right hand control ? both ?
Use the hand on the waist to help block her. It would be very awkward for her to try continue the turn since she would need to break her frame to do a full turn. But also since it's a half turn you don't need put too much energy into the turn otherwise she may think you wanted her to turn more. If you do the turn with more energy then it needs to match the music and you need to be more firm blocking on the hip.
@@Tydo90 really interesting ... so effectively, it is natural for the follow to only do a 180 turn and end in a "arm locked" shadow position. The problem I have discovered is in the next move. When you make her "unfold" it can be really tricky depending on your and on her morphology (if she is too large or if your arm lenght is too small). A little trick i find is the opposite of what is said in the video at 2:00. I find it is easier to have your right hand on her neck (left side), rather than having your right hand on her left shoulder, because it helps to unfold her during the next move.
@@indyzaga height differences can definitely be a problem for some moves. I would avoid certain moves with dance partners where I know I would struggle to do the move cleanly because of differences like this. Generally if you are shorter than the follow, I find it helps to be a little closer to them so it makes the moves feel more comfortable. Before getting too close I would test this first with some easier moves to see how well the follow controls their arms / elbows. You don't want to get so close and find an elbow smacking you across the face. :)
@@indyzaga Definitely adapt all your moves to your partner. Whenever you find yourself in need or more "arm length", go a little bit close. I can't think of a woman that large/arm length too small that I could not do that move but I know that might be the case. What I recommend is to practice, get the general idea then adapt the move however you feel comfortable as long as she is also comfortable :D
thanks for the free videos however some of them are complicated and not suitable for socials specially when the lady dance not so good the combo 2 in this video is very complicated needs only professionals
Not true. All combos work in social, but yet again depends on your country and the overall level. If you dance with a girl that has only 2 weeks on Bachata and you try this moves in social, it's your fault. Also, if the follower is good, but you can't lead properly, then it's also your fault. If you consider people with 5-6 months of dancing that can do this in socials all over the world, professionals, maybe you need to change your dance school. I write this because we get a lot of comments about the moves not being duable in social, but then I privately talk with the persons writing this comments and they realize they are at a beginner level: -no proper fundamentals -messy weight shift -not giving the signals on the correct timing -not being able to keep a constant rhythm -not using their ankles -not using their hips -shoulderblades are blocked -upper body is stiff -shoulder are up -hand gripping, thumb squeezing, etc.... And then they realize : Ohh.... that's why... I write this to encourage self analysis and finding a real teacher than can change your mind about this extremely simple combos that can be done with any intermediate follower.
Could you please do a video on variations that start with the rock step? I was only able to find one video of it showing 180 after the rock step: th-cam.com/video/UUfj4MZi4so/w-d-xo.html
