The singer was very well known in Brazil, his name was André Matos and sadly passed away from a heart attack back in 2019. Shaman was one of his bands, the first was Angra. Check them out sometime.
His first band was Viper. He recorded 2 albums with them before joined Angra.

My family was very friendly with his family in São Paulo, and I had the honor of meeting him when I was little and I saw him several times during my adolescence! he gave me the nickname tinyeyes, because I have round eyes! I suffered a lot with his passing, he was an incredible person, Brazil lost a lot!

I'm so glad I got to see Andre perform with Shaman before his untimely passing, His Angra albums and the first 2 Kiske Helloween albums are what got me into power metal and were two vocalists that had a huge effect on my to decision dedicate time and effort to my craft. I'm a counter-tenor without the best lows so hearing guys like Andre, Michael Kiske, and Geoff Tate showed me you can indeed succed in hard rock and metal with a sky high register. Yannis from Beast in Black is my new muse, but guys like Andre Matos are food for the soul and I'll never tire of listening too them.

Shaman, at this point, was Andre Matos(RIP, Andre) on vocals; Hugo Mariutti on guitar, Luis Mariutti on bass, Ricardo Confessori on drums, and Marcus Viana on violin. The show was the Ritualive tour in 2003. Andre absolutely owned the crowd, and the band was rocking, too. Check out I Will Return by Andre, in his solo project, and The Spreading Soul Forever, with Viper, and any of his songs with Angra and Shaman. Also check out Dan Vasc's 2018 cover of this song and his cover of Angela's Carry On (tribute to Andre); Dan is who got me into Angra and Shaman and Sabaton, Manowar, DragonForce, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Nightwish, Helloween, Avantasia, Sonata Arctica, etc. Dan is amazing! The name of the singer was Andre Matos, sadly he has passed away over than a year ago. I recommend you to have a look at his previous work with the band named Angra as well. Time and Make Believe are two of favorites of mine but I am sure the internet is going to tell you to go with Carolina IV and Carry on.

Thanks for giving some space to Shaman and the most iconic Brazilian metal singer called Andre Matos, who unfortunately has passed away. But you should check out that song, Carry On. It's from Angra, another band that Andre was part before Shaman, but he kept playing this song during his intire career, because it has become a metal anthem. Also, Pride, from Shaman is an amazing choice. You can find both videos from those 2 songs in that same presentation from the Fairy Tale video

Hi . Greetings from Rio. His name is Andre Matos. Passed away in 2019. He was a great musician, so he has nothing to learn anymore, even in life as fas as I am concerned . Reaction was apparently not much of your enjoyment. Wich is fair enough. I felt a little touch of an unfair sarcastic criticism though. Give another try to our South Americans by reacting to ana Carolina and Seu Jorge on " eu nao sei parar de te olhar" (.blowers doughters). But try the live version. It is in portuguese but you did not understand the vocalist english ether ( I guess they had English subtitles) , so it won't affect you opinion I guess....greetings from Rio.

Para quem entende um pouco de inglês percebe que o mano aí do vídeo só faz crítica negativa e logo em seguida elogia como quem pede desculpa por falar o que pode ter irritado algum fã da banda. O famoso morde e assopra. E no fim do vídeo ainda vende o peixe e pede para o vocalista (que infelizmente passou dessa para melhor) entrar em contato com ele para receber algumas aulas de como cantar melhor 😐
