Thanks for the video, it's extremely useful! Let's see if your mnemonic device for exploration sticks, haha. Answering your question, it is pretty rare for a crew to be able to explore a Site in a single visit, usually you'll have to return to it. It definitely takes a few hours of real time...
I think it was too simple, a lot of people prefer a more complex device. I'm thinking each letter should be a different element on the periodic table. Or a story about each element.
Just a minor correction to how Resolve works, it doesn't reduce the stress you receive by one, it reduces the stress gained to 1. Also, Arsaidh is pronounced more like 'are see', it's an old Scottish Gaelic word for 'ancient'
Yeah I was just using the pronunciation he gives in the book, and I mention this fact on an earlier video. From what I found online it’s either are see or are-sigh. I imagine it depends on which side of the island you’re from (my family said it both ways). Also I’ll have to check the resolve mechanic again thanks for the heads up
My heart just skipped a beat as I imagined it. In fact, that would be the line the coach says before they die: "long-jumping is just skipping when you were a kid...you always wished...you could skip...forever." (death rattle)
I picked this up recently, its a great product but the setting just isn't for me. If theres anyone who would want my copy, please let me know. I wouldn't want this great book collecting dust on my shelf.
AOL? Compuserve? Did you get your invitation to join The Well? If you understand that question, you dated yourself. By the way if you don't have an AOL CD I can send you a couple of boxes of them.😂
@@amanisalone I am not sure what to tell you here, for my Atari 800 I had to buy an external device to read this kind of thing. And I can't look it up on the internet, nobody has dial up anymore and my Hayes modem won't work with anything else.
@@amanisalone I found that the first step would be to pulverize the disc with a mortar and pestle. Then you funnel the powder into one of your USB ports. Restart the computer. Success.
Another excellent 'How to Guide' for the brilliant ATDW.
Ooooh the new intro!
Your style cracks me up. A great listen every time.

Waiting for my copy to show up. Received the codes for the Ker Nethalas zine and supplement. Gonna order them up with the rest of your catalog.
@@liquefiedpork I really appreciate it!

it's gonna be wild but I'm gonna do it
”Lash-fest…!”😄
I think this game has so much potential, but it is a dense read. I need a year to understand it 😅

I would watch that movie about the long jumper who is tasked with helping to save the world...call it "The Penultimate Stride"

No way I already have 5000 free hours...just have to figure out where to put the disc into the computer...do I just smash it into the screen??
