Isaac, this has inside job written all over it, somebody knew they were built without permits and ratted on you. Nobody else knew but the builder or builders and neighbors. Something to ponder.
Or that someone who knew wanted that property for a steal and the original owner wouldn't do it so that person screwed you. Or it was the person who maybe built those buildings screwing the original owner and now Isaac. People are so damn evil. But, I must agree it's someone who had to know about that property.
Hmm, kinda what I thought too. Maybe the guy who tried to steal his vehicle. Either way a terrible thing to do…
Those scenarios might have some truth to them, I don't know. But it's not the first time Isaac and his family were "attacked" in the recent past. This person also made a call about Ember which they had to deal with. This was just before the land thing. I don't think it's about the property so much as it's someone with some perceived grievance against this little family.

Issac, I know of real-estate lawyers, my neighbor build their fence on our property and we took it down & they sued us. We spent about 10 thousand dollars and they spent 20 because he hired 5 different lawyers who kept dropping out. We hired a REAL-ESTATE LAWYER who said they were wrong and unreasonable. We went to court, the judge sent us to mediation where we settled the fence so call issue , our fence was left up we gave them 300 dollars which the lawyer paid out of his pocket. The neighbor did not get any other unreasonable demands from us. The reason for the large legal costs because every time they sends a letter or talk to them, you, the court. It cost money to you and he spent more money because he kept changing lawyers. We won because we had a survey, we had a great knowledge lawyer and they were wrong and unreasonable. So I would suggest you sell the camper and keep the truck you need to haul stuff away, etc. A truck is essential when you have a house because you are always fixing , moving stuff.

County staff/ employees are *not* the people that can help you -- you need the help of the *elected county representatives* . You're a very personable and respectable young man with good values. Introduce yourself to one or more of them and explain your situation -- maybe they'll be willing to interceed on your behalf. You might even end up making some new friends with some actual sway in your community for your efforts!

I’ve done 3 days water fasts ! They were amazing , but the first 24 hours is hard . My advice is to make sure you drink electrolytes ( a bit of salt ) in your water and have different drinks for breakfast, lunch and dinner . For example , black coffee breakfast, herbal green tea for lunch and camomile tea for dinner

You can buy fasting salts to keep your electrolytes in balance , just to be safe . Once your body switches over to fat burning mode , you will lose your appetite and I started to feel really calm and peaceful because my sugar cravings went away . Dr Jason Fung I believe is the Dr who pioneered this fast . He had great utube videos! But , if people are on meds and have certain medical conditions they might need to be careful about fasting .

Seems to me someone knew they were built without permits, instead of blaming the internet maybe look closer to home. Neighbor's or maybe the seller. Your base would not know they were built without permits. You could be looking at this all wrong. Possible your neighbors watched your videos and didn't like the idea of Airbnb's so close to their homes. Just spitballin here. You should have a demolition party, have a bunch of friends over, feed and hydrate them get it done a lot quicker.

Hi Isaac. Having recently purchased a property in Eugene a year ago we learned through our realtor that anything that's not permitted CANNOT be written in the MLS description or contract or any other place where they list it. We bought a place with a studio in the back yard that was built by the owner, who was a General Contractor! But he didn't want to spend the money to get it permitted at the time. So, I'm wondering if this property was ever listed on MLS, or if the other structures were put in the contracts. Additionally, it was not known if our fireplace was permitted and we assumed it wasn't since it was so hard to get a direct response on this. In the contract there was a line item for the fireplace ... permitted or not permitted. Ultimately, it turned out it was permitted and the sellers provided the paperwork. Are you aware that the University of Oregon Law School has a program/fund so that Law students can help people in the community at extremely low cost? To see if you qualify, it would definitely be worth making some calls.

Isaac my sister and her son both had to replace connectors on sinks, shower, hot water heater in their mobile homes. The thing is different manufacturers. So I guess they just don’t last long. I never owned mobile home but did buy older home well built home. Still had to replace various fixtures
It’s like that in any home. Things just wear out. And the previous owners might not have replaced them correctly. I hate to see Issac selling off all his things. Always making the sacrifices. I wish him the very best of everything.

So much respect for the man that you are! Yes, it probably was a neighbor... same thing happened to my dad when he put up a shed in the backyard. Years, later a neighbor turned him in. I am so terribly terribly sorry for what you have been put through, still going through, and having to give up. Some people are mean spirited ; what is so terrible is they don't realize in the end they will pay a horrendous price and it will be to late, In the end you will have a beautiful piece of property. When I was ten, many years ago, my family visited my fathers cousin in Coos Bay, to this day I remember how beautiful it was. In some ways your landscape reminds came of theirs. Don't give up, many many people are pulling for you.
