Ok I have crossed the Leviticus months ago, that gave me some motivation haha also that part where pastor said that we spend so much time on social media yet make excuse for not finding time to read the Bible of which Word can strengthen us and that we need is something extremely encouraged us I believe.
@@worshipwondernwarfare yeah I have heard I guess in Chronicles it's a lot , you don't have to memorize it all just keep reading and move on, and as the video says see if you can get something the Lord wants you to grasp. For me, I sometimes read new testament books too. It's not that I only read the old testament one , I usually on some days continue to read through the chapters of a new testament book I picked up along with the old testament one. Just to keep it interesting and diverse haha.
Pastor, the words you speak, are a direct conduit from God//Jesus/Holy Spirit…I know your not just preaching/showing me the things I need to hear in the moment from The Holy Spirit but yet every time you flash on my TH-cams screen it is EXACTLY what I needed whether a Bible Verse/Support/Encouragement or reminder that I am a child of God and I am pointed in the right direction. Today I've watched many videos and messages on YT and this one came up just as I wanted to lay down. This is the 'golden nugget' I've received from God and I'm no youth. I'm 54 in 4 days time but this short video encapsulates all the teachings I've heard today and brought them together.🙏 Thank you Ps Steven and Ps Holly for encouraging me to stand firm and to look for my 'green flag' people.🙏🫶💯👏❤️🤗♥️👌
One really cannot fake the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The lack of humility in this man reeks. We are so self-absorbed that we usually read the Bible so we can serve ourselves: “how it can help me?” “can i relate to this story?”. We often forget that the primary reason we read the Bible is to know about our Lord and Savior.
Reading the bible is not just so we can "know about our Lord and Saviour". Studying the bible to "Know our Lord and Saviour" is to help us know his voice and hear his heart through His word (revealed words from the Bible by the Holy Spirit) so that He can MAKE us into who we are created to be as His Children. So yes, reading the Bible should help us and should be relatable too. If it doesn't help you and it is not relatable then something is off.

This is the worst way to read the Bible. His son was on the right track and this man his dad completely discouraged that and taught him false study habit. This is such a false man who preaches his own ideology of what Gods word says

I recommend starting in Acts since it applies to today’s time frame. Then read the old Testament.
