I had a boyfriend who played Roblox. Which was fine, since at the start, he was affectionate. However, around 3-4 months later, it was revealed he genuinely played these games. Apparently, he even used other girls, which god knows their age, to actually have sex. Completely serious. I dumped him immediately.

When I was 9 years old in 2011 on Roblox, I saw a tickling game that was popular and got a lot of visits. Not knowing it was a f+tish, I made a tickling game. A bunch of random guys messaged me asking me if I wanted to be tickled on Roblox. Looking back at my archived messages, it's seriously sick. I made a alt account and joined one of these groups. There was a fucking 8 year old and she said she thought it was okay because a fucking 22 year old told her it was. That just absolutely disgusted me to my core. There are children being manipulated into thinking its okay to talk with grown men. Roblox needs to step up their moderation.

As a Roblox veteran (since 2015), I can truly agree that for the past 7-8 years, moderation has never changed. There's still groomers, pedos, porn decals, condos, and other shit. Roblox just doesn't give 2 flying fucks until some known person points something (which violates TOS) out, in which case Roblox takes action.

Only those people who are old enough should be interacting with these kinds of people because they can still be exposed to some horrible stuff even if it’s just trolling. Remember, we need to protect kids. And also it would look better if you asked only adults to do this. If you see this clarify in your description or the video itself that you want only adults to try this. Otherwise Roblox may see this as an easy way of convincing their lawyers into doing a child endangerment case against you. No matter how ironic that sounds. Even though it’s their platform. If they can prove you made one child do this and they got exposed to some horrible things. You’re getting another lawsuit.

in 2019, while i was playing meep city, i got groomed without even really knowing the man i was chatting with had such malicious intent. i thought he was my friend. he said, showed and even demonstrated the sickest things i could ever imagine, projecting his vile fetishes on me. just around a month later i was exposed to full blown pornography. i finally realized that he wasnt a “friend” after my parents found out about it all. i still, to this day, regret logging on and playing that day. my innocence taken at such a young age, learning things i shouldnt have. thank you for spreading awareness about this, its a real issue. 🙁

I joined in 2014 and there was definitely heaps of pedophiles that would just go around and look for their prey in games. I remember being in a call in around 2016-17 and I was in a call with my friend on early Discord and he showed me screenshots of a somebody in his game. This guy harassing an obviously young person in such a way that was just disgusting. The kid, unknowing of the predator's intentions, couldn't even understand half of the advances and the guy just gave up.

i recently just reported one of those accounts with a disgusting username. as someone who has a niece that’s actively on roblox most likely talking to strangers, this worries me so much. i wish roblox would take matters into their own hands instead of us having to troll them out of the game, it should not be like this. i’m hoping this will get resolved very soon.
I reccomend to check their account once in a while. Check their messages, friends, favourites, last played, followed people and the people who are following, dont forget the groups too. Now when you find something weird (etc one of those vibe games) ask them about it.

I'm 15 and I can say this stuff gave me a horrible porn addiction from a really young age when I was newer to the platform, and over time it developed into a truly horrible monster making me one in the process. Thankfully I'm putting aside this addiction and I'm currently on recovery and my own self-improvement as a person. I was groomed when I was 10 years old- still in elementary school- by a group of people with porn addictions who tried to engage in erotic roleplay while knowing my age. They told me they were 16. I no longer believe that, of course. They convinced me so deeply that they were my friends and my only friends that when they ghosted me out of the blue I tried everything I could to get back into touch. I was an 11 year old by then, and I remember feeling completely worthless because a group of pedos had left me without a word. It had been a year of us being friends. These people had pretended to be my best friends to the point they were telling me they were the only people who really cared about me, and had directly linked me to porn and fetish websites.
My parents did not get involved because they had no idea about how dangerous the internet was. They eventually found out that I was talking to strangers on the internet, but the most they did was delete the program that I was doing it through. That was nothing, I was back at it the next day.
Please supervise your kid’s internet access. I’m still troubled by this shit today. It wasn’t over Roblox, but the amount of moderation on the website when it comes to protecting kids seems to be on par.
It’s crazy that there are so many people like us who were groomed on this game and it still haunts me. It’s just something that I can’t ever escape and makes me feel sick knowing that it didn’t have to happen. I could’ve gone so long without being exposed and coerced into a sexual addiction. I remember when I was 9 and dumb I had a male bff on roblox and i confessed my little crush and after that he got robux, abs, and invited me to a game to "have fun ;)" which I didn't understand but the game added body parts for male and female and the game ended up getting content deleted the next day.
They do not want to act against the predators because they are the predators. This issue has festered for years and their “incompetenc” to something that has been pointed out to them clearly shows they’re complicit in this evil. The fact that they made a 17+ Section instead of an 18+ section add it onto their problems with moderation tells you all that you need to know.

Ever since my friend told me that she was raped (which was a few months ago) I've came to the conclusion that Roblox will never do anything in time to save a very large group of children to avoid such nature. I'm not surprised that they're exposed to such vulgar nature at such a young age.
And that's the depressing thing. I can't do much. I'm trying to become a Therapist in the future, I'm 17 years old. However.. There's something that's just so heart breaking and dehumanizing to hear the people like me are into children. People like me, who want to help the world put it back together, but they get exposed to such lewd nature before they even enter high school. People with dreams to be a functioning member of society, watch those dreams get ripped away and replaced with becoming a Sex Slave or whatever.
I don't think I can handle it, I'm focusing on my little brother, he's 10 but he already knows what R34 is, already knows what sex positions are, and it's just baffling that I have to become someone who's so protective of what my little brother does that I'm becoming an annoying parent that won't let him do anything online without me supervising.

As a Therapist I have to accept people for who they are and help them as best as I can or better. But.. I fucking hate furries man.. There's just something so pathetic about them. "Not all Furries are bad" yet every single victim I've already talked to has been groomed from a person who has a fursona.. Now, I'm not a professional by any means, but I'm practicing. I've only helped 23 people and most of them are girls.

hearing your story and the things you've had to deal with is so upsetting. missing out on dreams and life opportunities is honestly one of the hardest hurting thoughts to me, and knowing that is happening to children hurts even more. i do wish the internet was a safe space for everyone all the time but the sheer amount of persistent malicious actors causing stress is such a difficult task to combat, especially when those with the most power don't bat an eye.

I’m 17, and even when I was 13 I was very prideful. Never let anyone have the satisfaction of even believing they had a chance of dragging me down. 💀 I was a very strong minded person. It breaks my heart reading some of these comments of people who developed these addictions as early as ten years old. That truly hurts my soul.

Thank you Ruben for doing what you do, I myself was groomed by a member of the ROBLOX community since I was around 11 years old and it completely ruined my social life, my perception of reality, my mental health and a lot of other things. This person exposed me to things that no person as young as I was should have been exposed to including some of the things you cover in this video. I'm much better now but its only been a year so I'm still affected by it, you in my opinion were accurate about the "rabit hole" that people fall into as I myself fell into it, luckily I have some great people in my life who ended up helping me, but unfortunately many people don't have that and so they have almost no chance of actually getting out of it.
I'm just rambling but either way I want to say thank you for bringing light to not only this but many other things. Please keep doing what your doing, and I hate to repeat myself but, Thank you Ruben for everything you do for the roblox community.

As someone who has been heavily influenced by the internet with weird fetishes' and have formed a EPI and started to be hypersexual at a young age, it was not easy. I was around the age of 10-11 years old when I formed this problem and I still experience these issues to this day. I'm an epi victim and i am so glad that someone actually talks about this stuff. It really messes children up from a young age. It gave me a horrible addiction from 7 years old, it made me think that doing that stuff was okay. Only last year, 6 years after stuff happened was when i finally spoke up about what happened because i thought it was okay.

As a teenager who experienced an addiction at the age of 10, I have finally recovered and stopped my habit in a matter of 4 years. Although I never participated in these grooming conversations, the exposure really fucked me up throughout school. Every second you waste with these groomers is one less second they have to spend with children. I want to prevent people who went through the same experience as me.

The truth is, things like this will always happen and that is because corporate companies like Roblox are too lazy and negligent to do to anything about their products and sites; their main concern is appeasing potential investors and getting as much money as possible.

Me and my partner are both victims of grooming, and despite the massive number of exposés and documentaries I watch on TH-cam that I feel kinda numb towards (obviously I hate that it happens but never felt as angry as I do now), somehow this pushed me off the edge. We don't need 60 year old men who went through four years of college to be a software developer to moderate these communities. Those people should be in charge of positions that actually demand these qualifications, such as a programmer or even better, the literal thing they went to college for: software development. The people moderating these communities to make sure that it's safe for kids should be people who are old enough to understand the responsibility the job brings as well as young enough to understand modern slang and someone who is willing to take the position FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF PROTECTING KIDS, not for the purpose of ensuring the company looks good and profitable.
There are so many usernames that should automatically report the account to moderation, it would make everything way easier.

on one of my old acc, think i was 13 at the time, i was playing some game and helped a new person get to the end. She friended me- then she started asking to do a roleplay. I had enough sense to block her, but the fact that happened in the first place is really, really bad.

I went through a really tough time when I was 12 years old. I was manipulated and groomed by someone much older on Roblox, which led me down a path of a serious sex addiction. I was naive and in a terrible mental state at the time. This happened during quarantine in 2020 and continued until 2022. I met this person while playing a game on Roblox, and we became 'best friends.' At first, it seemed innocent, but things got real dark when they started sending me sexual messages. They then introduced me to Roblox condos and controlled my actions, taking advantage of my age and lack of understanding. This went on for months, and I became obsessed with it. I craved the attention and satisfaction it brought, even though deep down, I knew it was wrong. Eventually, I ended the friendship and found myself engaging in similar activities with other people. It's shocking how easy it is to find partners in those degenerate Roblox groups mentioned in this video. Looking back, I feel disgusted and regretful about what I did. But I know that it's important for me to remember that none of it was my fault. I've since recovered and stopped engaging in those shameful behaviors a year ago. It's a journey, and I'm working on healing and moving forward.

As a dude who used to do pedo hunting on Roblox, there are quite a few things that you got wrong that I wanna correct you on:
1. These groups aren't trying to bait little girls when they disguise themselves as innocent clothing groups, they're trying to hide from moderation. All of the people who end up in these groups end up there on purpose, and it is almost impossible to just randomly stumble onto one. That doesn't make the issue better though, as pre-teens and teenagers are infamous for being dumb and horny and these groups will have a serious toll on their mental health. Not to mention that pedos are pedos, no matter what age your victim is.
2. As I kind of implied in the last thing, the kids that are being targeted here are older than you think. They're mostly teens and tweens, not these "little girls" that you hint at. Also, the genders of the kids are pretty evenly split. Sure, there are quite a few people whose usernames say that they're full-on kids and younger than ten, but that's usually just so that they can appeal more to the predators there.
3. Most of these "bull" guys are actually minors too. They usually just claim to be bigger and older because that's what they think girls like in their fantasies due to the emergence of popularity in porn that stars black men and the popularity of men in hentai being "ugly bastards." Most of them aren't even black lol.
4. This is kinda similar to my first point, but these con groups are fucked up in a different way than you think they are. It's a horrible, inescapable spiral for most of the teens and pre-teens who go into it. As they go further and further, they become more and more addicted to these roleplays and these games. They'll be more willing to be taken advantage of until there's a point of no return. I have seen many minors, both boys and girls, have this happening. The most memorable case of this for me was a kid that I met named "JasonlovesDoms" I talked a bit with the guy, and he's opened up to me about the different women that have groomed him since he first joined the con community. He's been at it since he was 14, and he's currently still doing it at the age of 16. I've been checking his accounts to keep up with him, and I still sometimes temporarily friend him to ask him questions about the community. He's been banned multiple times, and his current account is named JasonlovesDomsv4. If you're some random watcher who decided to read this comment, go send the kid some hope. I think he definitely needs it right now.

I have been playing Roblox's since i was 9 years old and Roblox at the time was so fun and everyone enjoyed it but as years progressed and more people started to join and now being 19 and seeing all the things that you have mentioned in the video is progressively getting worse and I wish Roblox would take action and have better moderation for all ages. I remember one game called Shower Simulator that got taken down cause of a lot of people reporting the game for being sexual which it was due to people being very inappropriate, it's crazy how Roblox can take down suspicious Roblox games faster then these groups and accounts. Roblox community needs to see this, everyone on the internet needs to see this especially parents.
Roblox's moderation has taken a turn for the worst since the beginning of this year, and there's nothing we can't due, especially the Roblox moderation *team* itself. My most played and favorite childhood game is being taken over by weirdos, creeps and p3dophiles.

As soon as you gave the permission they would add you to condo games and some twisted sh*t like that, you leave the servers and then get added back to them.
These servers had up to 6k people and it was pretty gross since you see underage ppl wanting to have s*x with others without even matching their age, it's pretty sad those kids are ruining their life and losing its innocence just because some people wanted it that way.
Ruben is right, predators inside roblox make kids EPI.
The thing in the permission system given by your discord account is that most no one reads them fully, and the kids even less since everytime the permissions start with some silly speech like "It can't cook your guinea pig", and probably wouldn't even finish reading the permissions you're giving.
Also the way to remove it it's pretty hard to find in the configuration system and some wouldn't know how to remove it.

I thought I'd troll some of these sickos myself, kind of shocked how quickly I got friend requests from them. Roblox needs to do something about this ASAP.

absolutely genius to fill these groups up with trollers, the majority of addictions come from how conviently easy it is to smoke a cigarette, buy a vape. it should be the same and the harder it gets the less it will happen. how often are people gonna smoke a 20 pound cigarette? Just about never.

Ruben, you should remind people at 7:53 that they need strong mental strength to do these sort of stuff because this type of stuff will leave a negative impact on someones mental health, It’s important to expose these predators but it’s important to be looking out for yourselves, it takes strong mental strength to be doing these sort of things and knowing what you are doing

i have to say a lot of the most well respected people in these groups are the people with "studios" they will invite you to a game via roblox studio and you can play the game in roblox studio rather than an actual game on the roblox player which decreases the changes of getting the game taken down. i've done a lot of digging in this topic so if you have any questions feel free to ask because i have a lot more knowledge than i'd like to after spending a couple days in this edit: another thing i want to say is that there are tons of people under 18 who are on both sides of these interactions and aren't always 40 year olds and 9 year olds
