80% of our viewers are from The US, so we choose to make that the primary. But we did not leave out metric this time, it's in every number :)

The thing is most Americans understand the metric system as many of them are used to seeing it on every product and such, compared to the rest of us non-Americans who barely or never see the imperial system. Im Canadian btw.

Those that have been to the Luna actually used the metric system so fail. The metric system is used by the entire science community.
Interesting video! The hardest aspect in terraforming mars would definitely be finding a solution to the radiation and creating a livable atmosphere... still, it shares some important similarities with Earth that would be very, very hard to fix, such as a good tilt--to little of a tilt or too much of one screws up the seasons and a planet's climate--and has a rather similar day and year, also very handy given the fact that we evolved for earth days!

... but other than that, an awesome comparison! I like how the graphics are simple but also aesthetically pleasing ^_^ (a bit like a channel a lot of people have pointed out already... XD)

Unfortunately the rest of the world uses a slightly different measurement system than the USA, and for the rest of us it is quite annoying to have to pause the vid mid stream and ask google for assistance.

at 4:16 I want to point out a detail that the video forgot to mention: Schiaparelli hypothesized the existence of the Martian channels, not canals. Schiaparelli was Italian, and he called the channels "canale". In Italian language, "canale" means both artificial and natural channels and various international scientists implied that those landforms were artificially made. Schiaparelli never said that the green men existed. Other than that good video!
