Back in the day (late 90's is my back in the day lol), you could get alot of channels on portable tv's. And let me tell you this shit was BEYOND cool back then.

What nostalgic. I remember the very first time I saw this pocket TV, far back in 1996, I was ten yo, and I stil remember its owner saying "this screen is made of Liquid Crystal", and the efforts of my childish mind im trying to understand what the hell liquid crystal even meant... 😍🤭

@@dougfisher1813 Nice. I remember being in my mom's car and listening to Jeopardy on the radio which was 87.7FM. Wheel of Fortune was a bit more difficult to play via audio-only.
My family and I had a Sony portable TV! Could these portable TVs be powered off an original Game Boy AC adaptor? I once had a Gamester car adaptor, which had separate Game Gear and Game Boy modes, and at one point during a car journey where I was playing a lot of Game Gear, after not playing for a while, I saw the car adaptor was in Game Boy mode and it was being used to run our portable fan!
I snagged one of these a few years back where someone spliced the wiring for power to accept USB and has a separate spliced wiring to allow input for AUX video/audio.
@@Woodys_Hobbies This sent me looking for mine (in nearly new condition) as I knew it has AV input via 3.5 mm stereo headphone type plug, as I use it as a display for my Jakks Pacific Pac Man game 😀 The explanation is that mine is a TV-880B. Unlikely, or at least the amount of work required to make it functional would destroy the portability of this TV. You would need to figure out how to convert the digital video and audio output from a PlayStation 5 to analog, and the screen would be too small to see much of anything. You would also have to plug this portable TV into its included power supply and be tethered to your nearest outlet as it would eat AA batteries like candy.
