Their style changed many times before 2000, weird but great! Most of Japanese called them Art Rock. I would say most western metal heads love their style after 2004.

This is a very interesting video. Not only do you get the translation and the cultural context of the song, but you get introduced to the shamisen style of the area Wazzy grew up in. It's quite different from other styles I've heard. Very blues sounding, and very influential on Wazzy's guitar playing. It makes sense to me now that of all the exceptionally talented guitarists I've heard from Japan, Wazzy seems to me to be the most comfortable playing American blues and blues/rock style guitar.
