Childcare costs in the US are ridiculous and they wonder why people are choosing not to have children. I know there are a number of reasons but cost is one. I went back to school to better provide for my daughter by the time I graduated she was going into kindergarten and any subsidy for childcare I had was gone. I still needed to have her in daycare for 30 mins before school and 30 mins after school which included a van ride to school. It was almost double my rent at the time for an hour of childcare and a van ride. 35 dollars a day plus 9 dollars each way to school bringing it up 53 dollars a day. I had to pull her out and figure something else out because who could afford that? Even with a new degree and increase income it wasn’t feasible. It would have cost me all of the additional money I was making with my degree leaving me in the exact same position I had started.
And all of this Georgia thing is happening fully legally. That's amazing. I understand leaving the states as independent as possible, but I don't understand why there are 0 federal safe nets when it comes to securing the backbones of the entire country. This seems insane to me. Elections / Democracy, Human rights are as important as some of the federal level domains. Just imagine if the USD valuation was state based, feels as crazy as letting states decide how they can treat the results of a general election

I am from the Netherlands and I live under the Dutch Economy. And I can tell you we have a very high standard of living and we also have one of the best Social Care institution. Trump cares about the small town of Springfield, Ohio which had a population of around 58,000 before it was overwhelmed by migrants because Joe and Kamala have let over 15,000 Haitians invade their town. Trump cares about Aurora, Colorado where armed Venezuelan gang members are terrorizing the people. I don't believe Kammie, or most of the media said a word about these dangerous situations until stories about animals came out because they didn't care.
But when Florida's governor, Ron DeSantis, sent a mere 50 illegal aliens to the very wealthy sanctuary city of Martha's Vineyard, Kammie, the media and other democrats had a collective cow.
There was endless reporting about how terrible this was and how hard it was on the people. The community wasn't prepared for such an influx. There were no stories about how they were just there to get jobs and how valuable they were. But the town bragged about how well they took care of those illegal aliens for one day before they got rid of them.

I am from the Netherlands and I live under the Dutch Economy. And I can tell you we have a very high standard of living and we also have one of the best Social Care institution. We have never been a Communist Country, as a fact we don’t like it. We have great public infrastructure and we care about Climate Change. We have still lots of old Wind Mills as well as new wind Turbines. No piles of dead birds underneath them. We are well educated people and even a Child of 6 can answer your question in English. So, I am quite offended by the statement that a Rambling Economic plan is somehow comparable to a Dutch Economy. Come and visit us and you will see that my country is one of the best in Europe and that nothing is given us but we did it with our own hands for generations. And therefor, we care for each other, we have good financial help for the poor, and we try to help the immigrants, but as being such a small country it is very hard. There is. It's called Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. The Supreme Court ruled that that part of the Constitution must be ignored, since it disqualifies Trump. Where have you been?
