Yes there's not many Peugeots left in Canada! A 306 should be old enough to be imported. Ask to see if there are any shipping services that can bring your car over here 👍
@@mikemclarenf1 There in Brazil have some company that offers container shipping to any location in North America, maybe the most hard part will be the release of license plate, my fear is the emission of pollutants tests. Can I ask you how was it for you or the import company does everything?

I believe it was originally a French import, as the Japanese drive RHD cars, and the S16 name was mainly used in France as insurance companies would pretty much refuse to insure any car with a GTi badge after the 205
anywhere else in the world the car is still called a GTi; Japan used the S16 nameplate because every single one of these vehicles were imported to Japan as LHD, in the top trim with AC and power steering. Regular RHD GTi models could only get either AC or PWS due to engine bay space constraints, and the Japanese market was not overly enthusiastic about that.
Keep an eye on the gear box oil level. I had one for ten years, very fun to drive. If you have a race track take it and go play, it can teach you alot about handling.... Friendly advice: NEVER take your foot off the throtlle while in a corner.
Funny you should mention this, because I plated the car for some summer drives, and on the second day I spotted a gear oil leak under the car. Car has been parked ever since until I decide to tackle the axle seals.
