Ich war als Kind schon immer ein Fan von Pit, bin es immer noch!! Zum Glück bin ich alt genug, dass ich ihn in Roggenburg, Frauenfeld und Möggers 2001 live sehen durfte!! 🙏🏼🔝☺️🫡

Pit "Pitbull" Beirer, one if the FASTEST men in motocross history to have just missed the world championship. Vice Champion is JUST AS GOOD as the Champion, only missed one thing. Had be not dnf in his home GP Pit would've been 250cc World Champion.
I was the ONLY journalist allowed into the JHK Kawasaki pits after the second moto at the USGP at Budds Creek. Only when I showed the late, great Jan deGroote MY KX250 with Sebastian Tortelli's works Technosel graphics kit did his scowl turn into a huge smile and he let me speak to Pit.
I was an amateur champion, nothing near Pro level riding and yet I found myself reminding this racing hero of mine that in SPITE on missing 25 points due to the DNF at the German GP, he still took the title chase down to the last moto of the last event. To me that's a TIE, and in truth Put, IMO, was the FASTEST 250cc rider on the planet.💪🏻😎🏁🤩👍🏾
Pit belongs with the legends, Kurt Nicoll, Sylvain Geboers, and Jaroslav Falta.
If not for the pain in the neck, to Kurt, Stefan Everts, Kurt wouldn't been 4x World 500cc Champion.
If not for pain in the neck Joel Robert, Sylvain would've been 3x 250cc World Champion.
If not for the crazy Russian GOVERNMENT, not the racers, Falta would've been a 250cc World Champion.
ALL of these moto heroes deserve mad respect cos Vice Champion still has the word CHAMPION in it.
Thank you for making this awesome video about my hero and friend, Pit Beirer.

Pit Beirer, Marnicq Bervoets, Kurt Nicoll were among the FASTEST riders n teh planet when the 250cc GP was THE faster group of riders. Pit and Maqnicq only needed a bit more luck to have been World Champions. They are WC in my book, always gave everything and left it all on the track. Danny Magoo Chandler is proud of these riders. Braaaap.

Strybos and Vehkonnen both got 125MXGP titles but were 2nd place so many times, i think 4 each.
