He's definitely more willing to share with the media. Great interviews thus far.

AV was great as well. Hes the one that lit a fire under Miller in New York. I agree though, Tocchet is probably #1. Our management is top notch. Its valuable having experienced cup winning coaches and management. Thank you Aquaman for letting go of the reins.

As well as changes to the next shift, the D has to get up into the play. Of course they have to be aware of a fast break if the other team achieves possession, BUT, when we have the puck, get up the ice and be a part of the play! It's so obvious but so many D just "hang back". That means, you have 3 players in the offensive zone vs 5 defenders. DO THE MATH!!!

People were upset about Boudreau's firing, but it looks like it was the correct move after all.

Turns out tocchet's secret strategy was all about the art of changing. Who knew mastering the quick shirt swap could be the key to unlocking peak performance on the ice? Next up: synchronized sock removal drills

@@danieltaylor3396Wrong. He was talking about changing socks and underwear. Some of the guys had some stinky 3 day britches and those had to be changed.

@@mat5473 To quote Tocchet: "Give your buddy a chance to get on the ice and not back check all the time". Sounds like commenting on sloppy, lax line changes and nothing to do with stinky socks.

Finally!!! I have spoken to my brother for YEARS about teams dragging their butt back to the bench on a change. This is a very vulnerable time and it happens so many times a game. Everyone has to get to the bench so the next line can enter the play and not be behind. The Canucks were just as bad as the other teams that were in the bottom of the league in this action. Why didn't highly paid coaches push this fundamental!!!???
