I really appreciate that this band brought back this beautiful song. One of the first vinyl records I bought. I was 15 years old and obsessively listened to this song in my youth with my 2 friends. Now that I am almost 60 years old, I realize that those days will never come back. One passed away, the other moved to Mexico decades ago. But instead, I have this new version even better than the original song that evokes my distant memories. Excellent musicians and brilliant performance by the lead singer.

"Professionalism" (in my opinion) has nothing to do with whether a person gets paid for what they do. "Professionalism" is measured by a person's attitude to what they do. HSCC is a fine example of this! - I'm not a musician I am, like most of the people who comment on these videos, a punter and I know what I like. HSCC I like your attitude! 🎶

Well, I am a musician, and I agree 100% with all you have said here. HSCC have reintroduced some great songs and put their own creative twists on some songs making them even more interesting than just a well executed cover.

COSTCO ALERT! I had a piece of a Costco birthday cake at my niece's birthday party recently. AMAZING! This is the cake with the custard in the middle of the cake. Highly recommended ... just like this band. Their covers are amazing!

A classic. Mark Meyers on drums has played with Stylus, Richard Clapton, Jenny Matthews, Divinyls, Moving Pictures to name a few and was inducted into the South Aust Music Hall of Fame. Fantastic drummer.

It's 2022. These guys are so good, I am now going thru their catalog. They nail every song they do, and all musicians/vocals are extremely competent AND have the right feel.
Who ever is the mixing engineer, Man....... Can I say great job!!! The clarity of all instruments and guitar left and guitar right was an experience - as it should be in all Rock music !

I love this song. I never get tired of listening to it. And congratulations for the band's interpretation, which was not restricted to performing it according to the original. Both the vocal and the instrumental were very creative. I like everyone there, but I'm the guitarist's number one fan. He plays with a lot of techinique, expression and particularly the arrangement for this song was divine.

Well, that was a surprise! Looking at the lead singer, Ian? I anticipated....loud. But this dreamy, soft velvet tone rang out...which is perfect for the song. The lyrics are touching and the voice comes from the heart. The lyrics of these HSCC renditions stand out as much as the music, because the musicians feel their songs. Even the guitars are calling "baby come back"!!!
