Roger Thorpe’s return along with Holly is exactly what Guiding Light needed at this time! Pam Longs characters were getting boring, by bringing back two characters with history and the fact they were both off the canvas for almost 10 years it opened up a whole bunch of new storylines and possibilities the show was severely lacking. To her credit Pam Long wrote both Roger and Holy back into the show beautifully!
Her credit too save the show's ratings by writing back in ancient history between two people that gave credits exciting storylines saved her place as Head writer cause if otherwise I still think she did a good job.
Roger and Holly would go on to be the cornerstone of the show for the next 7 years! Can anyone imagine guiding light with out Roger from 1990 to 1995? No way he kept the show alive after Reva left
Thank you so much! I wonder if Josh knew at this point that Marah was his or if it was a few more episodes down the road.. Wish I could see that episode!
When Phillip asked for water, I chuckled. I guess doing something so normal like asking for water during such a bizarre dinner scene hosted by a man hiding behind a mask is kinda funny. 😄
Maybe unpopular opinion, but I REALLY like the original Blake the best. And the original Alan-Michael. The original Dinah as well. The only recasts on GL that really worked for me were Maureen, Amanda, Mindy and Beth. And maybe Phillip. I didn't even really get into the last Alan until they paired him with Annie. And PKL should never have axed the character of Roxie.
Made my day to watch this. You’re the best!

I thought Mindy was a good character !! The original anyway..Pam Long stared out acting on soaps too..She was on the soap Texas in the early 80's..
